"Sora?" Riku thought back to when he had leave Sora. At the time he thought he'd be alright, blissfully unaware of the constant torment he was going through. Riku felt ashamed that he wasn't there for his friend and to see him the way he is now, distant and cold made him feel somehow responsible for the mess Sora was in now. Coming back to the present, he felt his grip on his blades slipping. "What kind of power could you offer me?" he said to Jack.

Jack casually broke the blade lock and relaxed his arms "You'd be stronger than you have ever been, all of your powers amplified, you could do Sora proud, become a scourge of the demon world. I care not for my brethren on the other plains, and will happily take any opportunity to expand The Void..." he reached a hand out, a red mist swirling in it "All I ask is a sample of your darkness so I can access my sword"

Riku hesatated. Would Sora understand just what he'd do to help his friend? Maybe someday, if I live through this. "Alright, here. So long as you leave this relam alone." He took Jack's hand and sent a portion of his darkness into him.

Jack chuckled as he absorbed the sample of Riku's darkness, taking it inside of himself and imprisoning it, wrapping it in the chains of the void within his soul and allowing him to give off the scent of an otherborn and disguise his demon blood when it comes to it. He allowed a miniscule amount of Void Mist into Riku before releasing his hand "When I create the crossing to take us to the void, that Mist will let you know when and where, it will draw you towards me, then, we shall retrieve my blade and you my boy... Will have your sword..." He relaxed his shoulders, and turned to leave before looking back over his shoulder at Riku "And this stays between us, no-one is to know of the deal going on between us, is that clear?"

Jack smiled as his new ally left "They're so easy..." he thought to himself as he walked away casually "You simply play on their weaknesses and they sing like a budgie..." with that he turned around the corner and disappeared. He was about to put his opponents into check and take the rook... From there? Checkmate was inevitable.
