Suddenly Alcatraz was in the way, raising his armored forearms he blocked Riku's blade, locking his sword against his own wrists. "What are you?" he growled, trying to scan more information in the boy's coding, but he could see nothing of any use so far other than what he'd already seen... "I know you're Otherborn, but why can't I see your soul?!"

I laughed darkly. "Soul? What soul? I have no soul!" I pressed my attack while launching a couple of dark balls at his chest.

Man, this guy just won't give up. While he was paying attention to the armored man, I went around them both and went after my attacker again, slashing as quickly as I could, but trying to limit how strongly I did it.

"Ahh! That hurt. THAT HURT!!!" I called as I was about to strike Dante when I felt the haze clearing in my mind. "So it works both ways huh?" I said to myself. I lowered my sword and dismissed it. "Sorry everyone for attacking you." You want to know who I am? Fine." I took off my mask and revealed my face in all my silver-haired glory. "Surprised?"

Alcatraz had dodged the dark energy and was about to strike the guy in the face before he removed his mask "W-what?" he stuttered as he suddenly halted his attack and slowed himself down before raising an eyebrow behind his mask and lowering his hand "Wait, what the hell is going on here?! Who are you?" he pointed a finger at Riku, his other free hand clenched just in face the guy was playing chicken with them, drawing their guard down.

Vergil had come in, about to strike while their opponent was busy with Dante but had to reign in his attack at the last moment when the mysterious figure dismissed the sword he held. To say that the fight had come to an end abruptly was an understatement and the adrenaline was still running strongly through Vergil's veins as he backed up, his eyes still locked suspiciously on the figure even as the mask was removed. He immediately recognized the kid that had come to Dante's shop once in search of a job. He still did not return Yamato to its scabbard which was held in his other hand, not entirely sure if Riku wouldn't try to attack again.

I put my sword down cautiously and looked at everyone. "Wait a minute, you're that kid that wanted me to hire you." I knew he was familiar.
"Alright, so what was killing me supposed to accomplish? You wouldn't get that job, I haven't done anything that would warrant that kind of attention from you as far as I know, what's up?"

"Who am I?" Name's Riku and what I told you is true. I have no soul." My eyes had turned back to their sea-green color with just a small tint of red. "As for your question Dante, it's a long story but here's the summed up version. Guy named Jack promised me power to help my friends in exchange for helping him get something. But apparently it had a drawback meaning if I don't kill someone or injure them I'll get weaker and in a way, crazy. You didn't do anything but being in the wrong place at the wrong time." I said as the haze began to take over again as my eyes returned to red. I put my mask back on. "Time to pick up where we left off!"
