Well, after about two hours of sorrow and frustration, I have realized that the DSi just doesn't cut it when it comes to this whole "proboards" thing... ANYWAYS, I think that it's about time for me to join this ish! (I'm also very sorry if this ends up being really long or is posted in the wrong section...)
Heya, my name is Chris! You can call me by whatever name I'm using for the rp (Ginta for now), my actual name, or CJ if you're Brendan. I thought I would make a thread here so that I can meet everyone while I finish the finishing touches on my character's balance and introduction (and because Brendan told me to...).
I guess the best way to describe me is like... Serious but not serious. My life resolves around two major concepts: making my friends happy and safe, and enjoying the world and it's people around me. I concentrate on keeping the world in check through my words; cheering up the down, defending the weak, or just being silly and making people laugh. I'm known for my loyalty, dependability, empathy, and good advice. I'm also known for my non-sexuality (but that's not really important at the moment).
I like the circus, fireworks, seeing my own breath, and the color gray. I'm a video game addict, avid manga reader/anime fanatic, and lover of music. I also enjoy cats and cat accessories such as but not limited to toys, catnip, and those crazy crinkle tunnels that drive cats ballistic.
I dislike heights, impure and indecent humans (people who are mean, dirty jerkfaces), pollution, conflict (unless it's in a story/vidya game/manga etc), the color burgundy, sex, and MOST chocolate flavored foods ( unless it's white chocolate or it's a candy bar).
My favorite things in detail are as follows:
Music: Rock, Metal, J-Rock, J-Pop, screamo, and other various musics
Bands: SOAD and Voltaire
Song: Starlit Eyes (SOAD)
Anime/Manga: MAR, Sergeant Frog, Soul Eater
Videogames: SO hard to pick, but I love monster raising games
Game: Okage: Shadow King although it has nothing to do with monsters...
Food: Potatoe pirogues, Swedish fish, toffee ice cream bars
And that's about it. Unfortunately I'm new to role play other than what my friends and I do when we hang out, so if I make a stupid mistake please be patient with me. I'll try my best to avoid error so long as you point out if I did anything wrong. If you have any other questions, message me or whatevs. Thank you very much for reading!
