I smile at Zatch, placing a hand on his shoulder. "That is strength, though, Zatch." And I laugh awkwardly. "I read that in a book once... I think it's true though, now that I have friends... They helped me get stronger." And I nod at him. "I trust in you, Zatch. But if it gets to be too much, just run, okay? I think we can handle this..." I think back to earlier, when I stopped all of those demons. By myself... I could do it again, if necassary. I just don't know what would happen to me.

"I'll fight, too!" I cried, and then the rip overtook us, and we were plunged into a hellish world where the very streets seemed evil and a large group of small, freakish things howled in unison and charged us.

When the demons charge, I jump start into motion. Doesn't matter if we can fight well, all that matters is that we have the will to keep going. And since these guys are my friends I'll keep moving until the end of it all. The sharper side of my blade connects with a demon and I hear it snarl in pain.

I wince at Sini's attack. I still... was not accustomed to this... I release some of the moss, sending it through the air, condensing in strength, retaining size. It turns into a net, and binds two demons to the ground, its hold strong as steel. I nod to everyone. I didn't have very much left in me. I'm sure that was obvious. "When we get out of here... I'm buying everyone a soda..." I laugh nervously to them.

I see the 'bad ones' in front of us, and I recall the first spell Mama taught me to defend myself in case of trouble. I begin to wonder if this time it will be the same as the other times. 'Believe in yourself Zatch', I say to myself as I think the magic words in my head. My eyes begin to glow as I gather power and then think the magic word, 'Zaker'. My eyes become white as I lose consciousness, my mouth flies open and a small bolt of lightning shoots out, creating a small explosion where a few demons stood. I only managed to take out one or two demons but this time, it didn't backfire, I cast the spell right! I'm so overjoyed I temporarily forget the danger, but quickly snap back and continue to attack.

I noticed that N looked fatigued.
"We'll handle it fromhere," I told him, pulling out an object I'd prepared beforehad from my pouch. Throwing it into the air, it turned into a wall, keeping N blocked off from the majority of the fighting. I sliced with the sword program at the 'demons', hoping this worked the same as it had last time...
Yes.
The demon howled in pain and reared back, and I stepped forward, slicing at it again.

I could hear the demons squealing with pain. I winced, glad I couldn't see it. I sit back against the wall and take a breath. I didn't need the wall... yet, anyway. But... It felt good to rest. But my friends! They... they were still fighting. I couldn't let myself not help them. I exit the opening on the wall and throw another net, trapping two demons. "I won't stop fighting just yet, Hara-kun... I have energy, still!"

I turned back to the green-haired man; I could see his determination... Reluctantly, I nodded.
"Be careful," I told him, before returning my attention to the demons around us.

At this point my strength was fading, and I began to realize that taking out one or two at a time wasn't enough. I saw that N was becoming tired as well, and instantly thought, 'I need a stronger spell!' I begin to think about all the spells that Papa had taught me, and two come to mind: one a strong attack spell, and a defensive, counter spell. I need to wait and find the right timing for a counter spell so I choose my other option. 'Zakeruga!!!' As i think the words, I once again lose consciousness and once again my mouth flies open but this time, a large concentrated beam of electricity flies out of my mouth and i manage to take out 4 or 5 in my path. "I-I'm not sure how much strength i have left. I might only have a couple more spells in me guys!"

crap, Crap, CRAP!
Things aren't looking so good for us, "Alright... There has gotta be a reason why the crossing happened!" I hack a demon to squeling pieces as I speak. "A spell, a stronger demon maybe...?" All I know is we need help and we need it fast! I'm not an expirenced fighter and it seems as if none of us are.
"CRAP!" I aim a heavy blow to a demon's head and instantly knocked it out.
Whats worse is that I can feel the represion from my meds wearing thin. This thing may get ugly if I snap, but then again... That may just be what we need... For me to let go of my humanity...

"I've got enough in me... for one more attack..." I say to the group. I look around to Sini, Hara-kun, and Zatch. "Please, don't lose, guys!" I yell. The remainder of the demons began charging at me... I pull back the rest of the moss and throw it with all of my strength at the ground beneath them. It spreads like wildfire, grabbing them by the ankles, throwing them into the air. A mossy orb forms around them, and trapping them in the orb, upside down and incapacitated. My head then feels light, and I stumble. I fall to the ground as my vision blackens, and I slip away from conciousness...

I saw N go down, then looked back up and narrowed my eyes, throwing myself into the fray as N's moss took out most of the remaining demons. I sliced into them, my sword dissipating them directly to ash, and the... Crossing?... began to close, the rip reversing and the world returning to normal.

"N!" I yell after he collapses. I cant waste this chance. "I have two spells left in me, guys. I'm gonna finsh them off!" I remember two spells that mama said I could use in quick succesion to beat enemies. One is my most powerful the other is an enhancement spell. 'Zagurzem!' A ball of electricity, floats toward the ball of moss and hits it, but instead of doing damage it is absorbed making the moss ball glow yellow and surge with electric energy. I felt my conciousness fading but I wan't done yet. 'Baou Zakeruga!!!' A Giant dragon of lightning flew out this time and charged toward the charged moss ball. When it made contact it caused a massive explosion, decimating the remainder of the demons. However, this time, I knew Iwasnt going to regain conciousness, at least for a while. My conciousness faded and I fell onto N.

I had made it to the cafe and found N not following me. And I had panicked, ran everywhere in search of him, until my finer senses kicked in. I could smell him and I could also smell a crossing.
Growling I had ran straight for the area.
Finding the rip closing I mentally yell at myself, but jump in to help round up what was left. My poor friend had found himself in another fight so quickly!
Poor N!
Jumping in I morph into my natural, Lion form and jump onto a demon's head and use my momentum to ri[p off its head. My claws ripping open gashes in it.
Stupid lessers!
I then jump and slide next to the passed out pile and keep anything that got to close away.
I've failed! I'm sorry N, I faileded to keep my promise!

My blade had cut through another demon and I can see and feel the crossing coming to an end soon. FINALLY!
But then a demon nearby me flew by and took down another, WTH?!
But its not posing a threat so I keep up the fight in order to hopefully end this quickly.
