Neku's words had driven me back to her side... But then... His mere presence with her drives me away... I can't make up my mind... Do I stay or do I go?

SHE offered me a place to stay, get on my feet, become better, stronger.
SHE promised to never abandon me... Not like I haven't heard that before...
"So... We can be together forever? You'll always be my best friend?"
I had nodded, "Always."
She smiles warmly, "To forever together..." She then had passed out from blood loss...
But SHE is so much stronger than she could ever wish to be. I really can trust HER to keep me from hurting anyone ever again. To teach me control... Even if my gut is telling me to not listen, to turn away. Sometimes its better not knowing...
But I have to...
A rumble of impatience sounds behind me and I nod, "Alright... Tell HER I'm in... But I need to make my disappearance believable first... I need to say good bye."
And if you don't show up? What do you think will befall me? A black head shakes and I turn on my heel, feet already leaving.
"Sucks for you," Then I brake out into a full run as I can feel him tense in the air and take off on a run. He'll over shoot me at first which is what I want. I duck into a side alley and into the Labyrinth. I know this town pretty well already, he knows nothing. Lets see how this plays out.
His roar is heard as he scents me out.
At least the Network will know there is a demon here now.

Smirking to myself I take another turn and wait for him to shoot past me again before taking another turn a few feet up, all the while running straight for the center of town. I know she is out with her friends somewhere so she'll be fine even if this lung found her.
I keep moving, never once thinking about the strain its doing to my body and soon enough I'm at a corner. Turning right I have a straight shot for Main Street.
I hear a small crackle.
"Shit."
Spotting a couple crates I use them to my advantage. Jumping on one, then another on top of a another one, finally throwing myself into the air. The alley lights on fire as my fingers grasp the concrete roof of a building. I pull myself up and keep on moving. I know he can't follow me this close to people, he's still afraid of the dragon hunting days.

I building hop a couple times before I jump down and land on Main Street a few blocks away from Namine's old place. Just a quick pack up and then a trip back to Neku's place and I'm all set to go. Smiling to myself I whistle as I go.
Yup.
I may be taking the wrong path today.
But in order to protect everyone.
In order to become stable again.
