"Mr Roxas!" The doctor called as he tried to grab hold of his arm, with the needle held in his free one "Would you please just sit still! I promise you that it won't hurt at all!" Roxas shook his head adamantly, sticking his chin up into the air he didn't see the doctor reaching out and grabbing his arm. "No!" He cried "No, don't! They said it wouldn't hurt when I was little! And that hurt! That really hurt!" The doctor growled in frustration "Mr Roxas, that was years ago, I've seen your file! You were young, I promise that this won't hurt anywhere near as much!" Roxas paused for a moment, before suspiciously sitting down and eyeing the doctor curiously "Okay..." he muttered, looking away "Just make it quick, Doc!" he said melodramatically. It hit him too late, the doctor said it wouldn't hurt as much he never said it wouldn't hurt at all...
"YOUCH!" he cried out as the doctor finished off the injection.
5 Minutes later...
Roxas had rolled up his sleeve to display the piece of cotton wool taped on to his arm as a veteran might display a war wound. He walked through to the waiting room grumbling to himself before accidentally bumping into someone with his somewhat wounded arm. He sucked in a sharp breath of air before letting out the tiniest of grunts of pain. "S-sorry there..." he said, clutching onto his arm, looking across at the person he had bumped into.

As much as she didn't like being here, Jasmine knew she had to at least thank the doctor whom had helped her. But she couldn't find... him? Her?
Anyways.
She was walking around when all of a sudden she bumped into someone. They sounded in pain and just as they say their sorry she rushes out hers, "Oh! I'm sooooo sorry!" Her brown eyes widening in worry and her blond hair getting pushed back over the shoulder of her red school girl uniform. "Are you alright?" She kind of moves around a little and her blue skirt sways as she does.
"DidIhurtyou?"

Roxas opened one eye and chuckled slightly at the girl he'd bumped into "I'm fine!" he said with a slight smile as he rubbed his arm "I'm just being a bit of a drama queen is all, I never really was a big fan of needles after all..." Roxas noted the uniform and assumed that the girl was a bit younger than he was. "Are you here for a check-up? Or a flu shot, like me..?" Roxas shuddered as he remembered being called from Lea's place by the doctors, saying they'd got his file from home and decided he needed to catch up his flu shots. He wasn't a fan of needles at all.

Jazz shakes her head and her attempt to push her hair back was in vain as it falls back into her face a bit, "No... I'm here to give my thanks." She smiles and holds out her hand with a giggle. "But I might get to know you while I'm here, least I can do for not paying close enough attention."
Her hand uncurls in an opening gesture in hopes he'll shake her hand, "My name is... Jazz... And I think needles are horrible from my experiences with them... How about you? Do you have a name as cute as you?"

Roxas stood dumbstruck for a moment "..." Before scratching the back of his head and shaking Jazz's hand with his free one with a large grin "My name's Roxas!" He exclaimed with a smile as he released her hand. "But I see where you're coming from with the needles..." He said with a chuckle as he rubbed his arm lightly "You said you were giving thanks... Do ya' mind me asking who to? I mean, obviously if it's something personal then you don't need to worry about it!" He held up his hands defensively, nervous of placing anyone on the spot.

Her shoulders shrug and she just rolls her eyes, "Doctor A... That's all they gave me as they ushered me out... Well that and sixty bucks to get me along as a start." She then places an arm around his shoulders and gives him a one armed hug. "And its alright, Rox. I'm not going to bite you or anything~." Her voice turned sing song as she does.

Roxas was about to speak before he was pulled into the hug with a yelp. "I didn't think you'd bite!" he exclaimed, his voice muffled in Jazz's shoulder, quickly returning it before leaning back an narrowing his eyes at her. Despite what he'd said he wouldn't be suprised if she did have a pair of fangs, anything's possible in Urbadelphia! He was relieved to find se looked very much normal and broke into a grin. "I wish my doctor paid me for coming here!" He said scratching his neck "Instead I pay him for stabbing me in the arm!"

Jazz gives an apologetic smile to Roxas, "Sorry, Rox." Before patting him on the back a little. "No hugging while you're hurt, got it~... Hey... Wanna go get some ice cream? I'm sure I won't find whom I'm looking for anyways~ Besides, ice cream always helped me after I got my shots and blood drawn~." She doesn't mention that would be the last of her money, she could find a job sometime, she's sure of it. She's even seen a little girl employed in this city, so their is bound to be some place for her to work~.

Roxas eyed the girl edgily for a brief moment "Are you sure? I mean... Well... We could always wait for whoever it is that you're looking for..." He wasn't going to lie, internally he was salivating at the prospect of having any sort of food, but he didn't really want to go about interrupting Jazz's plans. He checked his back pocket, he had enough money for ice cream... "Hmm..." he thought to himself "Even if you end up leaving early without her, I might have to go get some ice cream... I like ice cream... Especially sea salt! Oh I could go for sea salt ice cream right now..." Roxas swiftly realized the voice in his head was not his, but his demonic half, he quickly put a lid on it, scared of giving it any level of control.

"Of course...Unless you want to stay a little longer," She examines his face closely, but not like in his face, just with lots of thought put into it. "You seem to not want to stay here as much as I do... You sure you want to keep me compan...... You don't want me coming with you, do you?" Her bright features fall into a dark and stormy expression.
She even sniffs a little as she comments, "Okay, okay, I understand... You can just leave me here, I won't follow you or anything." All she had wanted was a friend, why does everyone think she's weird!? And she hasn't even told him of the Other things she's seen ad heard! "I... I was just hoping we could be friends."

"Wh-what?!" Roxas exclaimed as he took a step back and raised an eyebrow, how did she come to that conclusion? She hadn't read his mind has she? Oh god. That would be bad. If she'd read his mind then he would have a lot of explaining to do... But what if she was just making an assumption? Damnit. He was thinking too much, and now she was going on about how she'd only wanted to be friends and that was making him feel even more guilty! He could feel his face dropping slightly... Damnit Roxas do something!
"N-no! W-we can be friends! Um! I'll even pay for the ice cream!" He blurted out. He hadn't really thought before he spoke, but, oh well... He just hoped that that would do. No, wait, his mouth apparently decided that he wanted to add something to the end.
"I mean! Y-you seem like a really nice person, is all!"

Roxas smiled as he remembered something that Neku and Riku had told him whilst they were in the chat room once. "Well... If my friends are to be believed, being weird around here is considered normal! Myself included, so, no! I don't think you're weird!"He gave Jazz a small smile "So! How about those ice creams?!"

Jazz is just happy and nods, "You lead the way?" Her eyes alight with the a feeling of acceptance and welcome, for once in this city she isn't being pushed away from being different. She loves it. "My parents didn't let me out much." She gives a small giggle at that.
