Absolute chills went through me. This 'hacker' had just murdered a man in cold blood, in front of a camera, and posted the video for the whole world to see, just to taunt someone named Sora, taunt him for not doing the exact same. And no one knew about any of this, no one knew about the things that went on. I wondered how often crap like this happened in this innocuous, private chatroom that no one even knew existed. "Kanna... what did you get yourself into?" I muttered under my breath. But I had to push such irrelevancies aside. I had to focus. Posting the video had been his mistake; in order to get something in, there had to be a way out. A video streaming to the computer created its own connection, and all I had to do was follow the leader. Tracing back the streaming feed, I found the hacker's computer on the other side of the server. He'd been clever, worming his way into the firewall and past it, masking his IP and changing the settings so that any administrative access this 'Neku' had was almost useless, becuase he wasn't coming in through the normal port connection. A tricky, tricky attack, but I'd learned from the best. Iwas better. A few tweaks and changes, and he would be out for good, but I sent a little present his way, a nice little malware of my own design that would delete all his video, screw with his internet settings a little... it was programmed not to spread on a network, so it wouldn't enter the wild, but it would make his life miserable for a while, since it hid itself everywhere. Finding the root file would be difficult, if not impossible... it would keep him busy while I had time to fix the holes in the server code. The hacker was good. I was better. Much better. I executed my will with precision and ruthless cold. Haraken: Goodbye. I smiled as the next message popped onscreen. Admin has deleted Mr. Scratch - for good.Admin: *chuckle* Nice bit of coding there. And then I received a private chat message that chilled me to the core. Admin (Haraken): I'm sorry you had to see that... but I'm sure there's more to come. Are you sorry you sought us out, Haraken? This is a dangerous world... and you're on the brink. I closed my eyes a moment. Then I typed a response - regular chat. Haraken: Thank you, Admin. I'm not sorry at all - I did what I had to do. |

Just before Haraken managed to deleted his account completely he slipped in one last reply.
Mr. Scratch: But Riku, I already told you: I'm the boogeyman. I haunt your dreams, sleep weeeelllllllll.
Hei Nerr sighed as this Haraken deleted him, "Oh well, message is out."
He stood up from his chair, looking at his collection of knives. "Which one would Aqua prefer...ohhh, I like this one. Yep, this is good. Time to go skin a Mama Bear."

She refuses to have him in this mess with her, nut jobs are her specialty after all...

I blinked as the new figure entered the chat room, then just as promptly left. That's when 'Miss Priss' left as well. I wondered if "PolarxMamaxBear" were the 'blue-haired' mother that the hacker was after. Sighing, I shook my head.
Haraken: What was that all about?
Best to ask and make sure.

Roxas sighed and leaned back in his seat as he once again scrolled through the conversation and re-read everything. He didn't know lots about the others, only what Lea had told him. All the same he tried to answer for Haraken.
Sairen: Well, I'm assuming this guy's talking about Aqua. Fro what I hear she's a tough cookie, especially when it comes to her kids! But it's her boyfriend you need to look out for apparently. I'd heard about him before I came to Urbadelphia, guy rips things like signs out of the concrete and uses people who annoy him as baseballs. And that's when we've maybe just scuffed his shoes or something. I'd hate to think about what he can do if someone threatens his girl...
