The smile never left Hei Nerr's face as his hand lifted, most people would then see their own hand fly off their body taking a punch from Shizuo. Instead something else happened, once the fist made contact a...ripple washed over Hei Nerr. Like a pebble on water, it moved around him creating an echo-like hum. You knew I'm a psycho

I told ya...TOLD YA "Hehehehehehe, oh this is going to be good. Watch this boys! In a few moments I am going to wipe out the fear Urbadelphia has of Shizuo Heiwajima!" he continued to laugh, still having a grip on Shizuo's hand. When he clenched...it was of a strength that was too strong and unnatural for a normal being. |

I recovered from the blast and noticed Shizuo's hand being gripped by newcomer.
Now I haven't been around Urbadelphia long but even I knew that Shizuo's fist being blocked ment nothing but HUGE trouble.
"Hey freak!" I said as I shot a few dark balls torwards the man. It wouldn't stop him but it would in theory slow him down in order for Aqua to get the kids out of here so me and Shizuo could go all out.

Shizuo's eyes widened. In fear? No... Shock. No-one had ever stopped one of his punches before, and that could only mean that this guy was bad news.
"You think you can just wipe me out?! That people will no longer be scared of me?!"
His eyes were wide, his growling manic as he clenched his teeth against the strain of the mans grip. He needed to break this off now.
"No. I'm Urbadelphias Boogeyman."
He suddenly brought up a knee, aiming to catch this guy off of his guard and free himself from his grip.

"SININEN! MIDORI!!!" Aqua calls to her boys as she searches for them, frantic. Then a hand lands on her shoulder and she sees Midori with a very livid Sini next to him.
"We're not running mom," Is all Sini gets from his mouth, eyes bloodred before he summons his weapon expertly. "They're gonna need a healer and a couple extra hands... be prepared." Its a tone and a snarl that the mother hasn't heard in a long time and it scares her more than the thought of losing her babies to the rubble.
Midori looks to his mother with just as angry red eyes, but his hold a comfort in them as he nods to her and then nods towards Riku, "We fight here."
But Aqua just glares and shoves both of her kids in the direction of O-U-T, "No! As long as I'm breathing my boys will never submit to the same treatment I have!" With that they all three go stumbling away, the family disjointed and at a disagreement, but slowly escaping.

I heard an explosion and had stopped in my tracks, heart slowing to a stop. They can't be, they can't be... I HOPE THERY'RE OKAY!!!
Seeing the smoke I jog in that direction, already too tired from running. I really hope they're okay. They've gotta be okay, just keep moving! You're barely outta the city! They're okay! Somehow I can't just believe that...

Hei Nerr's smile never wavered, out of the corner of his eye he saw Aqua and her children beginning to move away. He motioned to the men with guns and they open fired, deliberately missing Aqua and hitting the ground. Creating a string of bullets to prevent them from moving away. Shizuo's knee attack did hit him and he did seem to have some pain...but it wasn't enough for a knee kick of that strength, he should have been unconscious or dead. Instead it was like someone gave a hard punch to his chest, the fireballs that Riku threw at him also hit...but still didn't do the damage they SHOULD have caused. He recovered quickly and smiled. Really I'm a psycho (psychoooo)!

"Thank you so much Riku, and most especially Shizuo you just made killing your girl all that much easier." he lifted his hands, the cuffs of his sleeves fell to show a strange metal bracket on his arms. "These babies were once used by an Order long older than your weak ass Network. They observe the kinetic energy from strong demons and use it to turn humans as strong as them. You're a halfer...with notorious strength...with that in mind." He smiled, "So Shizuo...can you imagine just how much energy you gave me?" Then he suddenly slammed both of his hands on Shizuo's ears, the strength reflected that of the focused ferocity of Shizuo himself. You know I'm a psycho!

Shizuo took the hit to the head and growled in frustration as he clutched at his head and took a couple of steps back. Kinetic Energy. Dammit why hadn't he listened in Science Class?! He remembered the class researching into a material which could harden against and absorb kinetic force but there had been a way to counter-act it, that made it impractical for military use. He growled as he still tried to think of the answer, he removed his hands now that he was a fair distance from Hei Nerr but his mind was still working.
If only he were a smarter man, then he'd be able to have solved this already! He hated thinking like this while in combat, he wanted to just rip this guy to pieces. Then he saw the soldiers opening fire on Aqua.
"LEAVE HER ALONE!" He roared, before snarling across at Hei Nerr "Get out of my way, I'll kill you once I'm finished with them! I'll break every bone in your body! Rip your muscles to shreds and pound you into dust, after I've protected my family!" He was near shaking with anger, yellow/gold energy bolts jumping off him before grounding against the Earth.

"Well... This isn't good..." Kyoshiro had been tracking a few demons that had gone stray and was in the process of naming and shaming when he heard the gunfire and explosions a little further up the way, wandering over he saw the battle going on but didn't instantly jump in on this game. He recognized three of the people as those encountered at the Code Beta meeting, but the one they were fighting was alien to him. Clutching his katana, he stood up, Sir Givven appearing behind him.
"Mr Ayanokōji." He said quietly. "I feel weaker than usual, it seems that this man draws on the strength of Otherborn Powers, in turn, weakening our link together. Once we have bonded however, our connection is no longer one of simply a power. I am then latched onto your soul and the effect should be diminished somewhat." Kyoshiro nodded.
"Alright! Let's do it!" His hand flung into his jacket and came out again holding onto a metal mask with a crucifix adorned on it. Alastair started to fade away into a mist, before swirling around the mask and disappearing. Kyoshiro brought it up to his face and the pair joined, Alastairs soul latching onto his as the pair became one, and the Templar's fighting prowess became Kyoshiro's.
Speaking of which. Kyoshiro's katana was coated in the same mist, before emerging as a longsword, the same one formerly used by Alastair in life.
"Now then." Kyoshiro said, his voice taking on his own tones, and the British accent of Sir Givven. "Let us go throw in our two cents worth." The pair made their way towards the battlefield.

Hei Nerr faded and he stared at him critically, "Family? You? You're...joking right? Lets ignore the fact mommy whored herself to a demon and focus on the real delusion: you think just cause you're all warm and cozy with mother-dearest you're their family, that her kids will accept you? Here's a news flash: you. are. not. their. father."
"You're an insult to him," he continued, "Beyond the fact you're Shizuo Heiwajima, you ooze of violence and aggression that makes up this hellhole of a city. You? A daddy? You're most likely the type to strike their family before protecting them, face it: you're a ticking time bomb. Assuming you even do marry into her family, their lives will be filled with tension for fear of one day you may SNAP!" he made a movement of someone breaking a twig in half, he shook his head at him. "Face it Shizuo, you're a berserker: not a family man. Compared to me you're the seriously disillusioned one here...you half breed violent time bomb you."
He sighed, "If it's a fight you want, I'll oblige. It seems though your powers are a bit too...limp for the situation. Boys!"
Some of the men turned to Hei Nerr as he said, "Juice me up."
Then they turned and fired at Hei Nerr, the bullets impacting his body just fell to the ground. Bouncing off his body as he began vibrating, three of them even pulled grenades and threw them: they exploded near him, but the fire and shrapnel were merely focused around him and used to fuel him. Once they finished he cracked his neck and motioned for Shizuo.
"Come and get me half-breed."

Shizuo shook his head vigorously.
GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"
Growling he continued to build up his animalistic urges and bloodlust, his strength increasing as he did so. He clenched his fists as the wind whipping around him increased and he could feel himself becoming less and less human by the second as his inner demons started to over-take him. He could feel everything changing, inside, but on the outside he still appeared to be the same.
In his body, his lungs were growing slightly, increasing the oxygen flow in his blood which in turn increased his muscle mass. His heart started working at a faster pace to keep up with the increase in oxygen. His bones strengthened and hardened themselves. Finally his vocal chords thickened, tightening his voice into a barely human wheezing growl, like he had been smoking for the past 1500 years instead of the past 15 or so.
What was this strength? It scared Shizuo slightly and he was unsure on how best to use it. The jumping energy seemed to increase as he clenched his fist. And grinned upwards at Hei Nerr almost demonically as he stretched his neck and tested out the new vocal chords.
"Ngghaarrghhh..."
He growled as he brought a hand up to his throat and tried to accustom to the change in his own voice.
"Now... Then..." He growled, as he dropped his arms and clenched his fists, ready to fight.

I hear gun shots and see Aqua and her kids stop. I would shout, but I'm all outta breath. Instead I keep coming in their direction. Not to much farther after all...!
(back to Aqua now~)
Midori throws up a sheild as he hears the bullets whistle a split second before the land in front of them. Any that where going to ricochet onto them just got deflected. Aqua freezes a moment before pulling her kids back and moving back towards the battle, her eldest on alert for more gun fire.
Around now is when Sini turns his mother to see Shizuo facing off with this guy and she hears all the problems of the situation. And now she's torn, she wasn't able to protect Dia last time something big like this happened. And now... And now, "Shizuo," Her voice is barely a whisper and her boys know she's on the verge of tears. Dori may hate the man, but he loves his mother, and Sini doesn't really care either way at this point about his mother's boyfriend, but he loves his mother.
Together the boys shove their mother next to Riku and take off together. Not to fight the psycho head on. But to take on his gun men. That way if someone comes to help, or not they could just be making the battle easier, they could get into the fight with out getting shot down. With Midori covering him, Sininen hacks at them with controlled swings.
Aqua meanwhile just growls under her breath, knowing what's going through her kids' heads. She then turns to Riku, "Cover me." Before following her kids into the fight. Her swings much more powerful and deadly than her sons.

"Oh look Shizuo!" Hei Nerr pointed to Aqua and her children running to the gunmen, "You're 'family' is trying to take cues from you! So adorable right? Here, let me help them!"
He slammed his foot on the ground and a line of fire raced to Aqua and her kids, when it got close enough it let out and explosion.

....which then faded out, absorbed entirely by one very angry Halfer.
The cavalry had arrived.
Flames burst into existence around Lea's towering form, his eyes sporting slit pupils and his claws at maximum extension.
No one messed with Aqua and her kids.

"Oooooh sccarrry! A scary Halfer showed up! What could I poss- ah screw it, you're just too lame to be scary." he said, shaking his head. He reached inside the pocket of his suit jacket and pulling out another object, same color and design at the arm braces he worse. It extended out on his touch, like a sword or a baton. "Man you're all sooo boring. When's the real party going to get here?"

A gunshot rang out; twin bullets raced for Hei Nerr. The sound of an engine revving was heard, and Nero stepped into the room.
"Go!" he said to Aqua and the kids; at least this time, Izaya had sent him to do good work. His arm was still cased in its sling, but it pulsed with energy. He'd use it if he needed to - for now, though, Red Queen and Blue Rose would be enough.
