She looked down both ways. Right looked more dangerous, left seemed calmer somehow. And she wouldn't want Ven getting hurt. So she pointed ahead of her, "Let's go left."

So Ven leads then along, "Alright." And soon they are deep in the path, the building's walls towering above them. Despite the sudden feel of claustrophobia Ven is happy to be checking this place out.

Yeul's eyes shined brightly as she took it in. Though the tall buildings made her feel a bit closed in, it didn't compare to her excitment of seeing something new. "What do you think?"

She went to nod when she heard something, shouting? It was coming towards them and Yeul gasped, "Hide!" Without thinking she grabbed Ven and dragged him behind a dumpster, crouching behind it.

(perfect, sorry couldn't figure out how I wanted to respond)
I duck behind the dumpster with her as the voices grow closer, most are male, but one female rings above the others. They seem to be arguing over something something. I frown to myself as they near us.
