My snarls of curses die in my mouth, is this a trick? Could he really be... No, don't sink into it, no weaknesses, none, "Then find someone else! I don't need protection, I... I... You really told him that?" I need to find that anger again, that rage, but... Its gone... N is doing this for me? That makes me the bad guy, not this demon. "... He really does it for me?"

Hanako chuckles lightly at the situation, retreating to the corner. "Don't mind me, Mr. Jack. I'm only here to watch. Moral support. Things like that, you know? Hehe~" Yeah, she's not dumb enough to mess with the Jack. Plus, she doesn't fight. She can't do anything without her full demon form. Instead she changes into a much smaller version of herself with dragonfly-looking wings, moving out of the minions' range.

Tao sees Jack and Kiara, and though she wants to attack Jack, she can't.
"It's you.....the Masked man! Tao has come to hunt you down. My nails are itchin.....Be a man and fight Tao! Coward!"
Tao hisses at Jack, obviously displeased.

That's it, that's what I needed to hear. My muscles tense and I stalk forward, "How dare you! The only distance between us came from you! You created it...!" My claws dig into the ground as I approach him, getting close enough to be a tail's length away. "Besides, I never asked to be a demon! All I've ever wanted was to be human, but if being a demon protects N then I shall be so...! You, you monster stole him away from me! I am no demon! You are the demon! And for all I'm sure you've put my mate through I will make you suffer...! Again! And AGAIN! AND AGAIN!!" Lunging with my mouth this time I aim for his throat, maybe if his vocal cords ripped out he could stop spurting lies.

Zatch had begun to shake in fear the moment he entered that place. He was shaking uncontrollably and He understood both sides very clearly as they spoke. What truly scared him, Truly horrified him, was that he didn't know what to do. He didn't know how N could end up killing someone, He didn't know that Kiara had such a scary side to her, and he didn't know how to deal with the evil presence he felt from Jack. He knew nothing, and that made him feel powerless. He watched the two and saw the fury held in Kiara's eyes...that reminded him of his own mother....Then, a small part of Zatch shut down. His emotions died and it was as if he had become an empty vessel. He looked at them, but no longer thought, and simply took everything in. He started to absorb the emotions around him, and make it his own, as he just watched.....
