A Flush in the Deck {Hanazayartie}

[Orion Fowl]

The boy slowly opened his eyes.
It took him a moment before he realized he was still on the ground.
But not much longer did he realize that Hanako was staring intently at him.
He sat up a little to quickly for his nonphysically-fit body.
He felt a muscle strain in his back, and a small pain shot through him.

"Ahh... that wasn't pleasant. "
It seemed as though he had just had a dream.
One moment he was sitting in an office, somewhat talking to two people, and then the next, he was in shock and fell to the ground.
And, of course, it wasn't...

"Woah. What a surprise that turned out to be."
He collected himself to his feet, and attempted to sit back in his seat, but his back didn't want to let him.
He stayed standing, and looked at the other two in the room.

[Izaya Orihara]

"Welcome back to consciousness," Izaya said. "Did you enjoy your nap?"

[Orion Fowl]

"Uhh, I don't quite know... It felt like I'd been sleeping for a few hours or days... How long was I out?"

[Izaya Orihara]

"Oh, not long; certainly not hours or days." He shrugged expansively. "My sense of time can occasionally be foggy. Probably not more than a few minutes or so..." He chuckled. "It seems we gave you quite a scare. Human beings are so fragile." He helped Artemis to his feet.

[Orion Fowl]

"Fragile indeed."
It was his turn to chuckle, though there wasn't really anything to chuckle about given he just insulted himself.
But it didn't seem to affect him.
He blew it off as a mere joke.

[Izaya Orihara]

Izaya laughed to himself, enhancing the idea that it had been a joke.

"Sometimes Hana-chan forgets that," he said. "I apologize for the shock. You never did explain to us why you came..."

[Orion Fowl]

"Indeed I didn't."
He looked at Hanako.
"I suppose it had something to do with what just happened. Why Artemis just fainted, I don't know... But I can assure you it might have been just from the shock that Hanako caused."

[Izaya Orihara]

Izaya's eyes, now completely red, narrowed in a dangerously curious expression, and he tilted his head to one side and examined the boy in front of him.

"Aren't you Artemis?" he asked. "Or is there someone in there I haven't yet had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with?"

[Orion Fowl]

"Oh... I'm sorry."
Orion smiled.
"My name's Orion."
He held out his hand in a friendly manner to shake Izaya's, and smiled once more.
