"I've never really had one," I admitted. "I can't afford one and back when we were living with Tifa.... well, let's just say animals don't like Lea." I thought for a second. "Well. Cats do, but Tifa's allergic. Dogs just hate him."

I laugh, "Well I really like cats, kittens especially." I take a drink of my coffee to keep the train of thought wrecks from happening again, because... I can feel one coming on. "I like white cats the best... But orange tabbies are cute too~."

I twitched, just slightly, at the mention of kittens. "I like black cats best," I said. "Always have. I've never really understood why they're considered bad luck."

"Hmmmm... Associations with witches?" I shrug. "And in Egypt, I think, white cats are the guardians to, basically, the gates of Hell!" I beam, sipping my drink again. Mint over taking my senses and making me sigh.

"But the goddess of cats, Bast, was often shown with a black cat," I said. "Egyptians considered them sacred to her, just like white ones." I smiled. "I don't know why I like them so much. Maybe I had a pet at as a little kid and it was black or something."
