Her head droops and shoulders sag, she doesn't even know how she got here. The walls around her drab and dirty, the room itself is dark and dank. With one lone window far up and barely shining in any light, its a lonely place. Her fingers dig into the sweat covered pillow in her weak, shivering arms. Slowly she lays her long since dirty blond hair covered head on the half filled plush. Her eyes closing in shear tiredness.
How long had she been here? Long enough to remember pain and discover suffering. She finally understands the meaning of starving, a shear lack of food. Her eyes blink open when she feels the pit of her stomach shift as she moves a bit to see if her circulation is as bad as she thinks it is. Of course it is.
How did I get into this mess?
Small feet pitter-patter a crossed the floor, her gaze snapping to it, red and blazing. Her pillow connects with the black creature that scurries to the far wall, "... Animals."
Her sensitive ears pick up distant sounds. Small beats, big beats, medium beats. Their back again, taunting her, sending her gentle mind into a rage. Always there at the back of her conscious, annoying and frustrating.
Trying to feed her slop.
Trying to talk at her.
Trying to make her one of them.
She's never been one of them.
Never been so cruel, so uncaring. She needs to feed, not a prison's walls that jeer at her. Red eyes flash and suddenly teeth glisten in the moonlight that drains into the dark abyss. Her feet end up under her -
