Following her I take the remote, "Not at all~." And plop down on her couch, waiting for the game to load. "Don't know how to set up the races anyways."

"I'll take care of it," she said and sat down next to Namine. The game loaded and she clicked through all the options to put the tracks in order. It changed to the character screen and Shiki said, "Go ahead and pick one."

Skimming through the guys in my head I beam and pick the cutest one........... Yoshi~! And use his basic car, "Alright~ Your pick!"

Shiki chose her favorite; Princess Peach. She clicked a few more options and then turned her controller sideways as the track loaded, "Here we go!"

Turning my remote sideways I giggle, "Three... Two... One!" And the race starts, my cart taking off at a basic speed and I hope I don't wipe out on the first turn............ that's always embarrassing, ah-heh.

Shiki hit the button too early, causing her to be stuck in smoke for a few moments before bring able to go. She made an annoyed face at the screen and then kept an eye out for an power ups.

Did I mention I can't play this game, "Oh no!" My cart bumps into a wall and I try to reverse only to get hit and spin both me and an NPC out. "Yoshi down, yoshi down!"

Shiki laughed, "Keep your head in the game, Nami!" She smiled brightly as she passed up two more cars. Now the days where she'd practiced were paying off.

Jerking around a little I manage to direct the car to the track and begin driving, "There we go~ Here I go~!" And I slam into a box, it shuffles through items. I got a mini and, with out thought, use it.

Suddenly she had shrunken down to a much smaller size, "Eeeep!" She swerved into a box and watched it shuffle through, landing on a red shell. Shiki let it go and took out one of the carts in front of her, "Now wear off shrinky thing...."

Twisting and turning I manage to get around another corner, ahead I see Shiki's character. Smirking to myself I try to drive into a box, miss it and then decide on a new, much more playful tactic. Driving the car so I would be next to her, I wait for her mini to wear off.
"Get ready, Shiki, love~!"

As Namine pulled up next to her she grinned, "Whatcha got up your sleeve now?" Shiki had a few ideas, but could only wait and see as the effect wore off and she was back to normal size.

Promptly I bump into her side, both in game and out of game. A playful smile on my features, "The handling on this thing sucks~." And I take a turn with a high level of difficulty as I try to straighten out my cart once more.

"Oh yeah," she answered as her cart spun out. Moving her arms as if it would help to pull it back to the right position she was thrown back a few places in the game. Finally she got herself back on track and then made the turn, searching for Namine's cart ahead.

By this point in time I have spun out again and am just playing dirty, waiting to hit on coming players/computer people with a star and giggle as I do, "Watch out, Shiki-love~!"
