"Smell...?" I asked quietly, but Rin rolled his eyes and then rolled out of the way, slicing upwards with my program-sword as he rolled underneath the dragon's sharp claws just as they cleared the ground.
"All I smell is demon!" Rin growled.
Rin paused for a moment and realized that yes, it was a scent that had told him what these creatures were. That made him a little queasy for a moment, before he shook it off. Who cared what sense it was that told him whether there was a Crossing going down or what the creatures were? Whether it was one of his five or some super sixth sense, he knew what he knew and it was a useful thing to know.
So he should stop his mental complaining.

Shizuo saw the large dragon charging forth towards the others, and interlocked his fingers. Twisting his palms outwards, he stretched with a cracking coming from the joints in his knuckles as he gave a dark grin. He stepped to the front of the group, facing the dragon head-on and held his arms out to the side and in front of him, his eyes refused to budge from the hulking figure of the beast barreling towards him with such strength and might.
"Come on, asshole..." He snarled, digging his feet into the ground and charging forwards towards the dragon, muttering to himself all the while.
"Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill..."

The dragon roars and shakes its dark scaled head before leaping back, curling up a moment before glowing a poison green. Its claws and spikes brightening in shade before it turns to Shizuo, snarling. With another roar it charges forward, its body bowling into my somewhat step-dad.
Of course this is when two and two connect, "Careful! Its got stuff on its claws!" The over grown lizard with wings claws at him as I say this. And I'm about to join in the fight when red one lumbers up past the Shizuo and the dark green one, it seems to smirk as it locks eyes first with me and then with blondie... what the hell?

"Oh don't you give me that smug expression," My feet have me moving forward and using a couple of the small[er] dragons to bounce off of. "Don't think you're going to WIN this!" Almost upon them a white body collides with mine and blue-white flames are shot at the group before I promptly slam a fist into the its jaw.
"Those are MINE you worthless underling," My words aren't snarled, they are said calmly and controlled as the white head jerks to the side. Its flames light up the red one, which isn't effected, but is now blazing with flames. "Dirty, dirty, dirty play!" She, the white one, snarls down at me and opens her jaws to bite me.

"Careful! It's got stuff on it's claws!"
Shizuo nods in response to his sort of step-sons words before ducking underneath the claw that was thrust in his direction and quickly bringing his arms up, he grasped at the giant paw. He gripped it tight and with an audible growl and a heave, he attempted to flip the dragon over his shoulder and on to the ground.
"Here we go!"

As the fire comes rushing at us I drive to the left. Raising my head up I see Shizuo handling the dragon like a pro, "Alright Dad!" Its body connects with the ground and I swear I hear it curse something a foul. But then it's tail wraps around Shizuo's neck and then unceremoniously slams his side to the ground. Its body twisting with him and going to claw at him once more.
I frown.
The now flaming dragon charges us, its mouth open with a ear splitting roar... Why do things just getting more complicated?
Sigh.
Thanks Namine for having it get light... What ever!
I scramble to my feet as the flaming one nears.

'Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill...'
Having been wrestled to the ground by the dragon, Shizuo changes his tactic. Grabbing at the tail wrapped around his neck, he pulls at it snarling and writhing whilst his feet kicked outwards at the claws coming his way, preventing any from getting too close. He got to the point of desperation where he even started savagely biting at the leathery skin wrapped around his neck.
"Get off my asshole! I'm gonna' break you in half!"

I searched through my bag of programs, trying to find something that might be useful and coming up mostly empty, except...
I threw out another wall, this time in front of us.
"This'll buy us some time!" I called, pulling up a quick patch for the wall behind us before shoving my back up against it and typing as fast as I could on the glasses' arrays to program something to help us against these.... dragons.
Rin shook his head. "I am never gonna get used to that and I lived in Daikoku for how long?" He shook his head. "Hey, Haraken! I'm going over the wall!"
And then I watched, eyes wide, as he took the wall in a single leap.

He was immune to fire, mostly, but he didn't want Haraken to know that. Plus, he really, really wanted to say something to the flaming dragon.
"Shut the hell up!" he yelled as his fist slammed into its jaw, and he felt the fire come up around is own body, his blue flames signaling to everyone who knew anything about demons that his heritage wasn't entirely human... and not really caring at the moment.

There was a blue flash from beyond the wall,a nd the glasses' readings showed massive amounts of Otherworldly power, but I couldn't concentrate on that right now. How was I supposed to program this......
Lines of code fickered across the displays.

The white dragon freezes before leaping off of me, her jaws snapping at the green one before jumping up for flight. Her jaws opening as white flames shoot up to the sky, calling all the smaller dragons to her.
Turning I see the dragon that had charged at the other three stumble before shaking its head and leaping into the air as well, its shout something about not knowing and being sorry, whatever. Then I hear a crunching sound as the green demon-dragon-whatever-the-hell-you-wanna-call-them also launches them self into the air.
"You chicken shits! Get back here!"
The small dragons retreat, listening to the white dragon with ease. The green one follows them and the flaming one does as well. But then a whistling begins.
"Oh come on, what's next? You're unholy lover or something?!"

A screaming rip tears into the crossing, the overlap, and a pitch black dragon lands just a few feet from Shizuo. Its dark green eyes take in the area before it roars a 'what the hell happened here?!'
The white dragon huffs and dives, landing gracefully a couple more feet from the black one, 'We were over whelmed! You said this job was easy!'
'It should of been,' The black dragon begins to circle the white one and as does she to him. 'Its your fault this isn't smooth sailing!'
She roars a few words of pure anger before lunging at the male whom slams a clawed paw into the side of her head, sending her down. She then jerks back, snarling, knowing better than to try to be faster than this dragon. Through clenched she grounds out. 'Not. My. Fault.'
'Oh? Is it not!?' He jumps forward, pinning her tail as she tries to move out of the way. 'You chose the wrong... what did you call them again... oh right, the best of your best?'
She growls and then glares, 'One of the big four is here!!!' Her head jerks at Rin. 'This fight was lost before it began.'
'Hmmm?' The black dragon glances before barring his teeth. 'I did not know he was here! It was your job to scout, not mine!'
She just snorts and drags her tail away, 'What ever! You wanted to cross! Do it while you have the chance!' Her eyes grow softer as the black dragon nods and then takes to the air. 'Just come back to me, you hear?'
'As you wish,' It smirks before darting out of the crossing and into the real world. The white dragon snarls and then sends a fire ball at each of them before retreating for the Otherworld...

My head turns to watch Rin shout and my eyes roll before Sini rushes next to Rin. The blue boy's hands coming to his hips as he adds, "YEAH! AND DON'T COME BACK!"
