The veil ripped. A roar could be heard throughout the streets to any who could feel the Crossings, and a demon slowly pushed its way through. And then another.... and then another. It was three days after I called Code Beta; I was actually heading up to Namine's place to drop off some Coordinator stuff - new info about the Crossings, the dossier we had on Ifrit, that kind of thing. That's when it happened. And I could feel, deep in my bones, that there was something wrong with this one. I flipped out my phone. Massive Crossing - main street. Come ASAP.

My phone jingles and I pull it out quickly, I see the text from Neku and swear, "C'mon Ang... No Time for lunch." He nods and we race in the direction that he said he felt a shift.

I was out shopping again, this time for some needles when I felt it. Frowning I drop my items and race out into the streets in time to see the demons appearing, "Crap." At this time I summon my blade to my side and see Neku charging in head first. I follow his lead.

Shiki's felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. As soon as she pulled it out and read it, she dropped the box of stuff she was moving around in her apartment and ran. The contents of it spilled every where, but that was the least of her problems. She'd felt the shift; this couldn't be good.

I looked around.
"Hey there," I said; the scenery warped and changed, turning itno a nightmarish version of reality. "Glad you girls could make it!" I grinned; something about fighting just gives me a hrill. I know it probably shouldn't be that way. But just deal with it.
I rush one, the energy in my fists taking it out fairly easily; these things weren't tough, really.

Once we get there Angel pulls out his sword, "Shall we?" I nod and close my eyes, opening up my mind to his energy flow and mine.
"Go," I say as my eyes open and I rush in to stand in the outskirts. Angel takes the command and begins fighting along side Neku, his sword dealing fair damage. A flash of blue catches my eye, its Aqua, but we'll deal with that later.

Twisting around and slashing at the demons, I can feel the others around me. Their all my friends so I fight with my all, but I do manage to shout over to Neku, "Know how this happened?"

I shook my head. "No clue! I'd say it's just like the other, but I can feel it.... this isn't an ordinary Crossing!"
I slashed out at the demons, taking them down with only a couple slashes each, but they just kept coming. I saw some bigger ones coming for us, and I called to the others, "Ignore the small fry, let's take out the big ones - see how that works out!"

"Got it!" I shout and Angel continues to fight for me as I avoid being attacked. He growls something lowly and a couple of the little demons blocking his way freeze, then get hit a few yards away. Oh, how I hate crossing, but at least I'm being useful. I refocus on expanding my energy out, I can feel the flexes in all the Otherborn as I do so.

Shiki started to take out the demons with the others. They were easy, but something was off. "Right!" She responded to Neku and began to go at the larger ones. She dodged blows and did her best to hit them.

Nodding in affirmation, Aqua follows behind the blond whom had rushed ahead. Shortly they were fighting back to back, as if reading each other before they moved. Odd, I've never fought like the before... The larger demons are harder to attack and Aqua finds herself more on defense, but she's still doing her best to try and take them out.

She saw Aqua and ran over to help her. She'd promised her kids and Shiki wasn't about to break it. She took down some demons around Aqua, "Great to see you again!" The demons were tougher than the other ones, but they'd manage. Or at least she thought they would.

Aqua smiles and throws her blade into the fray before summoning it back to bash on a couple of demons whom got to close, "Same to you, Shiki!"

"Um, um!" I hop skotch near the edge and then jump on one of the smaller demon's head, using it to rush forward and closer to the others. "Ang? A little help?"
A blade comes slicing through lesser demons and I rush in next to my comrades, "I think... I think I'll stay by you three." I shiver as I enhance Shiki's fire power a little now. "See if that helps a little." Shooting a glance over my shoulder at Aqua I'm glad Angel is too busy doing his job to realize whom she is. Otherwise things would NOT go down good at all...
"Hey... Where's Neku?" Realizing we're all grouped together and our leader isn't among us I scan for his energy in the area.

I'd gotten a little ahead of myself and ended up in the middle of a throng of demons; "grabbing" a sign from nearby, I swung it at them, throwing it, then slashing at them. A couple of Lessers vanished into dust and smoke, but the stronger ones rushed me, and I growled, slicing out again at them.
