Hahah, don't worry, not everyone knows about it.
It's a writing competition held in November - NaNo is short for NaNoWriMo, which in turn stands for "National Novel Writing Month", although it's now an international event.
Basically, starting November 1st, you have to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days (by November 30th). It can be about anything, but you have to start fresh on the 1st; nothing written before that counts towards your goal.

Too late for me, besides I'm not sure if I can commit to it. I usually write when the moment strikes not a second later nor sooner. Maybe next year when I feel I can write a semi-decent story.
Yeah, I don't think too highly of my writing.
