Luckily the creature slammed into the shield at the last moment before nodding in answer. "Lea should be closing up at the Veil, with luck Aya should be there too." He said as he ran towards the window and out onto the fire escape.

Riku didn't waste anytime as the creature backed away he headed down the fire escape after Noctis looking back and making sure the creature wasn't following them.

Noctis glanced up towards Riku as he descended the fire escape, quickly heading towards the Veil with his sword in hand once Riku was on the ground as well.

It watched from the window.
Reassessment complete. Target fleeing.
It leaped out the window and started to run after Noctis, and it was faster than the Otherborn.

"Unless you know how to get to the Veil, it would be a good idea." He said before he caught the sound of something running behind them. He looked over his shoulder and cursed, quickly pushing his legs in order to run as quickly as he could. He took a sharp turn to get onto the main street and take the quickest route to the Veil, hoping that they would reach it before Lea left.

"Shit!" He noticed the creature was following them and by the looks of it was getting closer every second. "Here's the plan, you go on ahead and get to The Veil and try to bring backup!" Riku stopped and brought out Way To Dawn again and prepared to face the creature. "I sure could use some help Sora."

It seemed to ignore Riku, seeking to follow Noctis - the black-haired man, to it, was a much higher priority than eliminating witnesses. It didnt' even see Riku bring up his blade, simply ran right past.

"I'm right here pal!" Riku said as he managed to jump and threw Way To Dawn at the creature hoping to distract it and come after him.

Noctis didn't look back, simply kept right one running until he reached the door of the Veil and yanked it open before he stepped inside. He looked frantically around for his co-worker and moved further into the club, not wanting to be near the door if the creature was still chasing him.

It slammed into the creature, knocking it off-guard. It slid across the pavement, before leaping back to its feet, growling. It resigned itself to the fact that it would have to take out the Target's accomplice before it could finish its mission; it launched itself at Riku, but it was more tactically aware, now. At the last second, it twisted, flipping in midair to kick the Otherborn with its hind legs before it would come down fully on top of him.

Lea looked up from where he was just in the process of coming off-shift.
"Huh? Noctis, what's up?" he asked, noticing his new co-worker's frantic look.

Noctis looked towards Lea as he heard his voice, grateful that the man hadn't left yet. "It's a long story and I promise I will explain afterward, but I could really use your help right now."

"Um, alright. I'm going off-shift anyway," he answered. "Let's go."
He started towards the exit, grabbing Noctis' shirt - being very careful not to touch Noctis himself - and pulling him in closer. "THis have to do with.... 'Other' matters?" he asked, voice low.

"Your going to have to do better than that!" Seeing the creature twist Riku bought Way To Dawn back to his hand and proceeded to bring it to defend himself. "Hope this works." Riku channeled his darkness into Way To Dawn causing it to split into two creating a white version of his sword and a dark version of it. "Awesome! It worked." Riku brought the two swords up and slashed the creature's underbelly. "Can't keep this up much longer..."
