A knock came at the door of the yet-unnamed shop, and, when no response came, the black-haired, autumn-eyed form of Izaya Orihara pushed open the door and stepped inside.
"Hello? Is anyone here?" His tone suggested he was having far too much fun.

Vergil emerged from one of the upper rooms at the sound of the voice, having been in the middle of repairing something while Dante was out on a call for a quick and simple job. He immediately spotted Izaya and made his way towards the stairs that led down to the main floor from the walkway. "Yes, what is it that you want?" He asked, his voice calm and level as he approached Izaya.

He smirked.
"I'm looking to hire your fine agency," he said. "Consider it a test, of sorts... I'm sure you can understand that. Wouldn't want to be involved with a group that can't produce results..."

"Don't you mean my fine agency Izaya?" I walked past him with some remnants of demon blood still clinging to me. I walked over to my desk and began to clean my weapons.
"Anyways, what do you need? Some tough demon giving you problems?" I wasn't paying to much attention as I noticed and attempted to get rid of a small blood stain in my shirt but alas, wasn't to be. I'd have to live with the stain.

Vergil looked to Dante as the younger twin entered the store, covered in demon blood from his last kill and asked Izaya about what he needed. "And if so, what do you know about it?" If there was one thing Vergil didn't like, it was going into a situation blind. He hadn't done so in years and wasn't about to start now.

He smirked.
"This is something I'm doing for a.... well, a friend of mine, you might say. There's a demon called Sin on the loose, and he and my friend are having what you might call a 'property dispute'. Since Sin and I have had similar disputes before, I thought I would help the young lady out." He chuckled. "Unfortunately, I can't go after Sin myself. He'd smell me coming miles away and pop back underground as quick as anything."
He crossed his arms, leaned back against the wall. "That's where you two come in. Hunt down Sin, and take him out... whether you kill him or just impress the notion that he should leave the young lady alone is up to you two. You would be well-paid, if you could do this for me."
He closed his eyes, thought for a moment. "As for Sin, he's old, I think, though not so old as he could be. His abilities involve control over fire created from darkness and negativity; he's a nasty customer, but I'm sure that demon hunters of your skill should be able to handle him easily."

"Interesting job." The sword I was cleaning was placed down gently onto my desk and I stood from my seat. I thought about the possibilities. Property disputes weren't cause enough to kill this demon. "So is this girl's life in danger from this Sin guy? Just trying to figure out the best course of action here."

Vergil listened closely, memorizing what information Izaya was able to give them so that they could use it later on. The abilities certainly sounded familiar, reminiscent of his time in the Otherworld. Could he possibly know this Sin? Doubtful, but it was handy information all the same. As Dante spoke he glanced at his brother out of his peripheral vision, not overly surprised at Dante's question about a girl being in danger.

"Not her life, no," Izaya said, "but she is the, ah, 'property' in question, as it were. Sin will stop at nothing to get his hands on her, and if he does, bad things will happen, not just to her, but to this lovely city of yours." He sighed. "Which would be completely awful, because I happen to live here as well, and as I said - Sin and I have had our.... 'disputes'.... before."

Well, can't say that this was a unique job. "Got it, go in, kill Sin, protect girl, job done." I smiled and picked up Rebellion. "Kinda a big 'test' as you put it, but I think we'll manage, eh Verg?" I was excited for what was technically our first big job. This was gonna be great!
"So Izaya, any other info you can give out? Whereabouts, a place where we could find him, maybe where this girl is, stuff like that."

He nodded.
"Sin has gone underground for now, but the last place he was seen was this mechanic's shop." He pulled some photos and addresses out of his coat. "Across the street is his target's home; there's also a photograph of that residence." He handed Dante the info. "There's also a list of some past acquaintances, and contacts he may have in the city."
He paused.
"Ah, I almost forgot. There is... one more thng." He pulled a final pair of photographs out of his coat. "You're not the only hunters on this case; have you heard of the 'Ghost Rider'?"

"Hmm, thorough aren't you?" Grabbing the photos from his hand, I looked each of them over carefully. I remember seeing the mechanic's shop down the street from here. As I went through the photos I finally came across the picture of a guy with a burning skull. The Ghost Rider I guess.
"I've heard of Ghost Rider but never had the pleasure of meeting him." I handed Vergil the pictures so he could get a look at them to. "Don't trust us enough to get the job done? Or was he hired by someone else?"

He shook his head. "This one is personal, for the Rider." He handed over the photographs; one was of the Ghost Rider's true form, flaming skull and all. The other showed a boy, mid to late teens, with brown, spiky hair. "Those are photographs of the Rider and his current host, Sora Shimomura. It's imperative that neither ever find out who hired you."

Vergil listened carefully, merely giving an almost arrogant smirk in answer to Dante's remark that the twins would be able to handle the test. He retrieved Yamato from where he had set it down before returning to the other two just as Izaya handed the information to Dante, taking the pictures once his twin had finished. Vergil carefully examined the photographs as he leafed through them, finally coming upon the one of the Ghost Rider, he wasn't surprised that Dante had heard of this particular devil hunter before. "He's quite infamous in the demon world." he said before chuckling disdainfully. "Though it's difficult to find reliable information on anything important, most demons spread gossip like fishwives." He added with a tone of annoyance in his voice, remembering the outlandish hearsay he would often hear when trying to gather information before his escape.

He chuckled. "THey do that..." he said, sighing and shaking his head. "I suggest working with this particular piece of gossip, though. He's incredibly dangerous and will stop at nothing to protect those he cares about."
