Well, I figured that since we had this wonderfully awesome picture of Lea floating around in sketch form, I might as well color it. Then my monitor cable went KAPOOF! for a couple of months because it was in use for other purposes. I finally put it back to its intended purpose and finished the picture. The shadows are kinda bleh, but I really love the highlights! You'll also notice I've added a little orange to Lea's hair for visual interest. Here it is:  |

I. LOVE. the.... COLORING!!!!!!! Its done very well and the orange just brings out a nice contrast to the darkness of his horns which sets off the picture more and, um... well... *blinks* Its just EPICALNESS!!!!!!

Awwww, thankies so much! *huggls back* To me, he looks sadder than angry... hmm. Oh well. I really love the contrast of the black horns with the fire-colored hair; the only problem is that his hair is so bright, you don't really pay attention to the scars anymore. I should've added a reddish tint to them, maybe.... oh well! He does look totally badass though, and I like he way his hair came out, to me it looks like it got colored with markers  Edit: GUH! I FORGOT TO ADD HIS LITTLE FACE-MARKING THINGIESS! AGAINNNN! |
