Howdy there guys! (I don't know why I always start with howdy when I live in the UK... It's pretty odd actually now that I think about it... Oh well!)
I've recently started listening to Five Finger Death Punch's new album 'American Capitalist'. Now, one thing to remember with FFDP is that they always have on really emotional, very near ballad-status songs. And they really are some of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, so I just thought I'd share them with you all!
Way of The Fist album - The Bleeding (Acoustic)
Okay so Way of The Fist was FFDP's first album, it never really had any slow emotional songs like the two later albums, but in one of the deluxe versions it did include an acoustic version of the slowest song 'The Bleeding' it's a really touching and emotional track and I'm sure I'll have shown someone (Probably Miri XD) it.
War Is The Answer - Far From Home
Their second album was really focused on the soldiers fighting in Iraq at the time, and they even went over to Iraq and played 10 shows for the military personnel, shows that went down a storm apparently! Far From Home is another powerful song that can reach out to anyone who's served in the military or know anyone who does.
American Capitalist - Remember Everything
Now, I've not heard all of this album, but it does seem to be directed at those bands who really change their image and sound for money. The really powerful track however on this album has nothing really to do with that, Remember Everything has already become one of my favorite FFDP songs despite only hearing it thrice! :')
But there you go! I hope you enjoy these songs as much as I do! I do understand that a required taste is needed to swallow FFDP, so don't worry, I won't be offended if you don't like them! ^_^
