Otherborn is a roleplay based around canon characters, set into a new setting, with new backgrounds to explore, similar to YouTube roleplays such as Psychic or Patches, but without the video-editing element (unless you want to!) Thus, we ask that you pick a character from an established fandom such as Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, or any other kind of anime, video game, novel, or movie/tv series you want, but tweak their backstory to match ours.
Your character does not have to be human. There are several shades of demonic (Otherworld) beings that help or hinder the Otherborn.
You aslo do not have to play a hero.
The whole point of Otherborn is to be creative - we want you to be out there and interesting.
We do ask that you don't play a character that's already been claimed; for reference, I'll add and maintain a list of characters alreay on the site so you don't have to worry about figuring it out.
