Break Time ((OPEN))

[Kiara]

Selling coffee is hard work.

Really hard work.

So with this said I'm glad its my break time.

With a heavy huff I fall down onto the chair I just pulled out, a heavy sigh on my lips. I wasn't the only one whom is working at this hour, its a twenty four hour coffee shop and some college students also work here. But still.

Sometimes I wonder why I even took the job that the kind family offered me. I would of just been better off if I had taken their other offer of a place to stay as well, but... Humans can never truly be friends with a demon. They wouldn't be able to understand me.

And I was right.

Several times already I had to claim I was the adopted niece of the owners of this place. Its gotten annoying, but in reality, I understand where their coming from. The human side is so different than the Otherside.

I laugh to myself, wondering if I should get a drink for myself, none caffeinated of course. Looking up I hear the door's bell tingle. A new customer has walked in... Wonder who they are...

[Riku Nomura]

"Pulling an all nighter really tires one out" I mumbled as I walked into the coffee shop desperately needing some caffeine when I saw Kiara tending to the shop. "Hey Kiara! Mind getting me some coffee?"

[Kiara]

I giggle and point to the girl whom had come out from that back, "She'll have to get ya... I'm on break~." I then get up to join him in line, wanting to use some of my check to get that really good stuff they call a mocha and with a little dash of what they call peppermint added as well, mmmm-mmmm~.

[Riku Nomura]

"Sorry, running on empty so Brain's haywire. Hahaha." I said as I approached the counter. "Hey, can you get me a Lataie with whipped cream and Carmel?"

[Kiara]

My other co-worker nods and gives him her smile she only gives the guys she calls cute, and then goes to fill his order. I just flash a quick -fanged- smile, "Naw, its okay... Most people don't realize we're open because most times I'm the only one running the floor at this time of night... Lots of us take turns napping."

[Riku Nomura]

Sorry to hear that. Have you considered advertising this place?" I asked after I received my drink, payed, and sat down.

[Kiara]

I just giggle, "Silly... This is normally my hour to stay awake. I get to nap next hour." My co-worker hands Riku his drink and then waits for him to pay. Her eyes drifting between the two of us. Sometimes I wonder if she knows I'm a demon, she's rather wary of me... Hmmm...

Just then Kairi walks in she yaws and then says " I would like some coffee."
