Aqua laughs a little, "Actually... I used to sing the boys to bed at night." She then finishes her bagel and takes a swig of her Coke. "But I also used to sing at talent shows back in the day... No one of my friends had the heart to tell me to get a day job." She laughs again.
"Do you?"

"Well then I can't wait to see your performance," She smiles and then nods. "Always... Do you know what you're doing?" She knows what she's singing, but still it would be nice to know what Sora would be doing. Might bring more confidence to her.

Aqua nods, "Yes... I've been playing it over and over in my mind for a couple days now." She's blushing as she says this, her nerves kicking up again. "Sini suggested it in his last e-mail."

Shizuo stepped into the veil with Tom in front of him and Kasuka behind, once again his cousin was in disguise... "Tom" Shizuo muttered "Why are we here? Didn't you say we had some money to collect?" The brown haired Tom simply nodded in reply before finding a seat and motioning Shizuo and Kasuka to sit down "We do" he spoke calmly "But first I want to enjoy the show, I've been out of town for a while, and I want to see if I recognize anyone at all, and better yet, it's karaoke, you'll a get a few cracking acts, and then a few who are... More of a chip rather than a crack..."
Shizuo massaged the bridge of his nose before standing up "I'll go order drinks, what does everyone want?" Tom thought for a moment, tapping his chin "I'll just have some orange juice please, Shizuo!" Kasuka nodded "I'll just have a beer" Shizuo turned to the bar "Two beers and some OJ it is..." Leaning against the bar on his forearms, he waited to be served.

Aqua had been enjoying her conversation with Sora when her eyes widen and she leans farther over the table, trying to duck low, OH NO! Not tonight, why tonight!? She had spotted Shizuo and suddenly she's full of conflicting emotions.

As one of the non-descript barmen approached Shizuo, he stood up straight and pulled out his wallet "Hey, can I just have two bottles of beer and a glass of OJ please?" the barman nodded "Any particular preference on the beer?" Shizuo shrugged "Corona's will be fine" the barman grabbed the bottles and poured a glass of OJ, placing them on the bar, Shizuo traded the money for them. Heading back to the table, he was glad to be back in Tom's employ, he was running short on cash.
"Here you go" he said bluntly, putting the drinks on the table, the other two thanked him as he cracked open the beers with his hands and sat down. "Hey Shizuo!" his cousin called "You gonna' sing?" Shizuo simply snorted "No. Can you imagine the headlines? 'Feared enforce = beautiful falsetto'" To raised an eyebrow "You're a falsetto?" Shizuo shook his head "I was joking..." Tom nodded, grinning slyly as he did it, the look made Shizuo uncomfortable...

"Well I will...be..." he trailed off as he noticed Aqua leaning low to the table, he looked behind him briefly and back at her.

"Wha... What?" Aqua looks up, flushes and sits up. "N-no... I was just... Hiding." She almost squeaks out the last word.

Aqua flushed some more, "Its stupid... But I'm hiding from Shizuo... The song I wanna sing... Its about... My feelings for him." She sighs. "Although we've already told each other... Its still embarrassing that he's here to see this... Here this."

He blinked, looking at Aqua and at Shizuro, it was so weird to see the mother suddenly act like she was a teenage girl. But it's something he heard that women don't grow out of, no matter how old they get.
"I can see that...but I think that's rather romantic of you," he said, "if I wanted to express to some girl my feelings I'd sing something to her, probably the only way I can express them anyway."

Shizuo was sat in his chair with his head hanging back over the edge, staring at the ceiling. The first person to go up could have been worse, but they could have been better... It was bad enough to give Tom the snicker that he'd hoped for from the night, but it was also good enough to earn a round of applause at the end of the performance as well. Shizuo was completely and utterly, bored. The only time he raised his head was to take a drink from the neck of the bottle he had bought, and those moments only came every so often.

Aqua had smiled to Sora before she realized it was beginning. She was third on the list and her nerves stared getting the better of her as the second person went up to do their performance.
She clapped when they were done and headed up to do her own. She had a CD with the instrumental version of the song and she takes a deep breath as it begins to play. Her eyes drifting around the place until they land on Shizuo. Suddenly the confidence found her and she sung strongly and with all her heart:
