Its was Saturday.
Aqua knew it was Saturday.
But that's why she was here at Veil, taking her second step in recovery. This night was made of amateur and great singers a like. She had come last Saturday and liked the out put. Sure, sometimes, one would be booed some, but its whats coming from the heart that matter.
And she has a lot she wants to sing from the heart.
And sure its only karaoke. But that would be enough... Enough to call forward that missing part of her that has been neglected so long. And as Shizuo said, she needs to live a little. Let loose, have fun.
Tonight she will.
So as she walks in she does what's needed of her so that she can sing tonight. A little later on of course and then orders he usual Coke and bagel. Then goes to a seat where she won't exactly be noticed at first glance, but blue hair is hard to ignore after all.
Waiting she opens her drink and sips at it, nibbling on her bread product.

He was wandering around tonight, taking orders and such rather than sitting behind the bar. He saw a woman in here that he'd been seeing more and more of recently; her bright hair stood out in the crowd, but he'd seen weirder stuff.
He walked over to her, smiling. "Hello. Can I get you anything?" he asked.

Aqua shakes her head, "Sorry... I already have all I need... Thank you for asking though." She gives a bright smile up to him before tilting her head to the side. "Hey... You're Lea right? I'm Aqua... Was at the last Beta meeting."

He grinned.
"Oh, hey, yeah, I remember you. You here for the karaoke?"

Aqua nods, "Trying to get outta my shell a bit... So... You work here?" How did I miss THAT? She wonders to herself.

He nodded. "Yeah, usually I'm behind the bar," he replied. "When I am, though, people have a tendency to try and get me to sing. Or, they try and get me drunk so that they can convince me to sing. I don't sing."

He laughed again. "Well, thanks... but I'd better go. Customers are waiting, and if I stick around, you might actually convince me to sing,a nd I'll spare the rest of the club the misery."

Aqua just laughs, "Well... I'm not sure you will, I'll be singing after all." But she gives him a wave none the less. "Enjoy your work."

Sora entered in the bar, carrying with him a guitar in a protective case. He saw the crowd and a familiar face or two as he walked in the bar, setting his guitar down and taking a seat.

Aqua saw Sora come in. And what he was carrying, she smiles to herself. Looks like she won't be the only one she knew singing tonight.

Catching the flyer for Karaoke night at The Veil I decided I needed to get my mind off of things and forget my troubles for one night. I entered The Veil and sat down in a booth near the door I wasn't the best singer around but I could.
