ONLY READ IF YOU WANT TO BE SPOILED~~~<3
“HOLD HER!” My mother's command is absolute and my father has no will to argue as he wraps his arms around me. The crossing is crashing around us, not as in ending, but tearing our world to shreds as the demons try to brake through. This has happened once before, I remember it, Angel had predicted it. I wish he had been here to warn us again, convince my parents to put a more watchful eye on the demons they kept here for training. Three were known for starting little crossings by calling out to other lessers. One was not as kind.
This was the one that had started this crossing, its constant, yet silent cries, rearing up the Otherworld, prompting it to swallow us whole. Last time it took me, my parents fear this will happen again. But even as my father holds me, I fight against him.
The people I hold most dear and closet to my heart are out there!
Shiki! Neku! Aqua! Even Sora!
Although, it takes a moment's explanation for my mother to not attack him, the usual Otherborn spiel he gives. But I can see she excepts him as a comrade and a partner in arms. This is not what bothered me though. I could care little, not nothing due to my attachments to Shiki- my dearest and closet friend, if he were to have gotten into a fight with my mother. I'm not entirely confident as to whom would win, I'm unsure I want to know the answer.
“Shiki!!!” My friend is saved at the last moment by Sora, his lasso catching her and pulling her to safety. The large demons here may prove to be to much to handle for just the five fighting Otherborns. And I cannot offer any help due to my father's mental, yet physical shield. “Let me go! Let me out!! They need me!!!”
“Your mother knows what she's doing,” He replies coolly. That's all he ever does, listen to her and act upon her bidding. Does he enjoy being bossed around by such a temperamental woman? Does Neku hate-?
Not important right now!
“No she doesn't! She's never fought alongside them,” I cry out as I beat my fists uselessly against my father's chest, he doesn't even flinch. “I have! I know how they work! She may accidentally... AQUA!”
The bluenette, whom I have become close to in the past few weeks, falls to her knees as a transfer takes place. She had gotten to close to my mother as she had tried to shift the balance of power. Now she's getting yelled at and I see that my mother is distracted a little. A demon comes roaring down on the two, now I would of closed my eyes and cried on my father if a small explosion of clearish-green hadn't erupted in front of them. The demon is blocked and my mother pulls Aqua away shouting something into the air.
Dammit!
I wish I could hear what's going on! But I can't thanks to Dad's shield!
“Namine... Calm down,” His tone is firm, but words are gentle. “Hysterics does not help you with winning your mother's approval.”
My mother approval? What is he talking about? Approval for what?
“Dad... Um... I...” Suddenly my focus is resharpened as Neku comes into view. His last attack obviously drained him, he's breathing heavy. He should at least catch his breath, stupid boss. “... neku...” I could feel the barrier around us shaking a little. The same demon from before lifts its mighty paw, its will to squish Neku for good.
“Do you love this boy, Namine?”
Do I what?!
“Dad... I...” Before I could react, before the demon's hand came plowing down, my father is off running. Skillfully bouncing off of rocks, lesser demon's heads, and landing moments before the falling paw could reach my orange haired love. “FATHER! NEKU!!!” I can hear the sounds of the fight again, including the deafening clash of a Greater upon my Father's shield. He can only take a couple more hits like that before he's put out for good and that with me adding him.
Wait... With me aiding... Oh god!
Jumping up and kicking a lesser in its nose I search around for an Otherborn with the strength to save the two men of my life. There, on the outskirts, what is she doing here?
Whatever!
She'll have to do!
“Aid them please!!!” I shout above the noise, our energies touching like they have only once before. Suddenly I felt it, the pain of loosing those closet to me, my entire race being wiped out in one mighty swing. It was my fault, all my fault, all-- “PLEASE HELP THEM!!!”
Crystal blue eyes connect with mine and then turn silver. A nod is seen as she races into the battle, her spear on her back as she moves her hand in a motion that can only be seen as a summon of ancient magic. Her crystal glows and so does her eyes, a silver light pouring for her as she pulls her spear form her back.
Now is the time to aid her.
I focus all of my energy, every ounce of it on her, making her stronger than ever before. Making US stronger than ever before. Ancients coursing through me and modern power through her, she jumps into the air with a battle cry. Her spear's head cuts deep into the demon as it picked up its hand to deliver another blow.
The demon howls in pain.
“You shall not harm them, Demon... Feel the wrath of the Others you've killed... Die at their mercy,” Then I separate from her, the vengeance of the spirits that reside in her body too painful for me to ever fully acquire. But Neku and my father are safe now... I can relax, I can...
I can...

My body jerks away and suddenly I'm surrounded by darkness, “My young lady... Are you alright?” silver eyes meet mine and I smile to her. My arms reach out in the dark as she reaches for me. We touch and I know this is real, she's here again. “Answer me, Young LeBeau.”
“I am fine... Just a bad dream,” I sigh heavily and her head shakes, her body silver I now realize.
“No dream, young one,” Her finger tips brush some of my hair back. “I need you to open your true eyes, show us where you are... Who has you.”
“My true... No, no, no... I'm not! I can't be!” Panic is something commonly found in this place worse than the most twisted of nightmares. “I can't! Please, please, not the...” Eyes flashing open I can see its true, my breath catches.
“...The Otherworld.”
I can't describe the place. If you've been there here you would understand what I mean. But then that voice is heard, oh god, that voice.
“Hello, Child,” It was like a thousand beetles decided to speak at once, and let me tell you, their English is horrid. “Did you miss me?” That voice makes my skin crawl and my heart thud painfully in my chest.
“Darla said you were dead,” I gulp and slowly back away, the body, seemingly human at the moment, follows. “... YOU'RE DEAD!!!” I'm sitting now, that much I can tell. Hands- My hands? Its hands?- clamp down on my ears and I let out a scream, somehow this sound comforts me. But I can't do it again, my vision blurs and then blackens.
“I... I can't... I can't be here!” Suddenly a silver hand is on my shoulder and my hands slowly loosen their hold on my head. “Bring me back! Like you did for Angel! Bring me--”
“I'm sorry I can't... Your physical body is there as well...” A heavy silence hangs between us and then her voice softly prompts. “Who was with you, young one?”
I can't say it.
If I say it then it'll be true.
I can't say it.
My head just shakes.
“I see... I will tell the others...” Her voice begins to fade and I know she knows what I'm talking about.
“...” My voice won't come out, but I wanted to plead with her. I want to beg her to come back, to not leave me alone. This spirit form of mine will only last a few moments more before I will be at his mercy once more. I can't take that... If they don't come soon I shall end my misery the only way I know I can... I shall aid a demon... I shall allow myself to completely give into that need to be useful... I shall die.

Awe, well then... ^^' *coughs* Don't worry... This isn't something meant to happen for a while! And when it does... Namine! DO NOT DIE!!!
Nami: Mmmmkay ^________^ Don't give me to that creep then.
*eye twitches* We'll see now won't we?
Nami: Oh shi--- *passes out*
Yes, we shall~~~<3
