What boredom brings (finished, sorta)

BORED!!!

My fingers hurt from typing, ugh!

Sighing I shut my laptop and look around. Neku's place, my current residence, stares just as boredly back at me. Why did today have to be a THURSDAY?

You see, I now have to plan all my conversations with Neku around everything else. Sure, I've done my Other job and have been working around the clock to keep up with everything, but sometimes I just stop, stare, and mentally die.

There is nothing to do here!

I could go out, but that would just be tempting the winds to stir, besides, I like cuddling up in one of Neku's hoodie and snuggling with my pillow.... Gah! I'm growing soft!

I look around the place...

It could use a make over...

And I do have extra money this week seeing how I don't have worry about keeping Angel busy...

Darla already got her rations money from me...

Grabbing out my colored pencils and sketch pad I get to work on the ideas running through my head.

Nami: You do NOT live in a "house" Neku... You live in an apartment, in a apartment complex. That is not a house. I used to live in a house, a small one, but a house none the less. Now what I'm going to do to your home is a whole different question... I'm going to make it more... homey. Don't worry... Nothing to fabulous is going to happen ^_______^

Panting I come into the apartment, it is now nearing the end of Neku's school day. I'll have to work fast! The small cans of paint, along with a big one, are set down by a wall. My color scheme is simple:

Purples
Hot and pale pink
And Black.

I paint the base color first and as I wait for it to dry on the walls I move to cleaning anything that could possibly shine. I HATE grim, so its best to get rid of it.

Looking to the clock I test a wall and smile. I sketch my design on, hoping that my rendering skills will be working well enough for this. So I paint on the designs three different layers, growing anxious as the time for Neku's arrival grew nearer.

"Shit, shit, shit!" Looking around I realized that the furniture is still where me and Darla left it... At the storage unit I brought... Its a ten minute walk from here with out the luggage. And I can't carry that stuff myself.

Face palming I look to the time again, "All well... Unroll the blow up mattress you brought with you from home and set that up like a bed." Nodding to myself I do, pull the color scheme from the walls onto the makeshift bed in the middle of the room. The door handle rattles and I mentally swear to myself. Grab a pillow, cuddle it and then collapse backwards onto the bed.

As Neku walks in I curl up and get into a relaxed position, sighing to myself. A feeling of boredom from before settling over me. I look up to him, but don't look to his face. I give a slight giggle, "Welcome home, chéri."
