Backstory: Train, in the demon world, was once an assassin for a Demon Lord. He was thirteenth in the squad that existed, hence the roman numeral "XIII" on his upper left chest. He received the nickname "Black Cat" because his victims always ended with back luck. But on one mission, he was seriously injured, and taken in by a human. She was a peace-loving woman, and quickly grew on him. He had fallen in love. Not with her, but with her way of life. She was a free spirit, much like a stray cat. This interested him. He didn't want to be a pet, but a stray, to do as he pleased. So he left the demon world for the human world, and hopes to join a resistance against the demons, who have all had it out for him since the beginning.

Personality Traits: Now that he isn't forced to be a serious assassin, Train takes everything easy. He is energetic, loud, friendly, and trusting. He is often foolish and childlike, which can both improve and worsen the moods of others around him. And if you buy him a meal, that's a guaranteed card to being best friends. But he also has a soft spot for those like him. Orphans, and wounded, confused hearts. And it is usually only around these people he is mellow, and serious.

Powers/Abilities: Train is a master guns man, and carries around a pistol made of Orichalcum, an indestructable metal, branded with his "XIII" mark. He can shoot multiple, quick shots with the revolver named "Hades." He is agile and quick, like the cat he was named for. Other powers include:

Black Claw: He shoots a number of bullets while in the air to accelerate him into a spinning slash, "Black Claw", that leaves four large slash marks.

Burst Bullet: He uses specialty bullets, including the Burst Bullet, which produces an extremely large amount of damage, bullets that can freeze opponents, and bullets that paralyze opponents, etc. Often can include smoke bombs and flash bombs.

Personality: As a genetically modified clone, Eve has a robotic and straightforward personality. Originally accustomed to doing what others instruct her to, she becomes very focused when there's a good bounty. She's also competitive with Train. She also likes to observe others to learn more about them. She loves to read. Her favourite book is "Heart-Pounding Survival" (Maroon Library). Eve is very interested in everything around her, after being closed off from the world around her.
History: Eve is created as a clone of Tearju Lunatique, the leading researcher on a team hired by Torneo Rudman, a man studying demons and Crossings. The woman was a half-Demon, so she has the ability to see Crossings. She is created with nanomachine technology and thus has the ability to transform parts of her body into any weapon or form she chooses. Eve is raised in an isolated environment and saw nothing beyond the laboratory and mansion of her owner.
Train and Sven first come across Eve after agreeing to help out an infamous thief named Rinslet Walker. They head to the small country of Sapidor, where Torneo and Eve are. Train goes off on his own to scope out Torneo's mansion and he witnesses Eve killing several of Torneo's less efficient subordinates on his orders. The underworld tycoon calls it 'playing tag' but Train intervenes before Eve can kill the last one. She is surprise to sense that Train has 'the scent of blood' on him just like she does. After Train finished his job and captured Torneo, Eve wanted to join them. So Train agreed, and decided to show her the world.
Abilities: Bodily Manipulation: Eve is able to use nanotechnology to transform her body into various weapons. Initially only able to alter limited parts of her body, she is later able to transform her entire body at will, though it causes much strain on her body.
Arms: She generally turns her arms into blades, hammers and shields
Hair: she can turn her hair into fists, hammers, and microblades able to cut through steel
Skin: Eve turns her own skin into steel
Wings: she sprouts wings from her back to fly and fires the feathers as projectiles
Tail: Eve transforms into a mermaid in order to swim more efficiently.
Feather Bullet: Eve's first projectile attack, but it isn't meant to kill people, so it is weak in comparison to her other attacks. The feathers are formed from incomplete nanomachines.

Appearance: Sven Vollfied
Personality: Sven follows a strict code of chivalry; he is always respectful to women and children and acts very proper. He is often tortured by Train Heartnet's capricious personality and is usually dragged into trouble and even more debt because of it. He is also a very creative thinker and always calm, even when his life is on the line.
History: Before becoming a sweeper, he was an agent for the International Bureau of Investigation, along with his partner, Lloyd Goldwynne, who was a clairvoyant. After being attacked by a few demons, Sven loses his right eye and Lloyd sacrifices himself to save Sven. A week before his death, Lloyd registered as an organ donor. The night he died, Sven received the vision eye... ((Explained in Abilities))
Now Sven works as a Sweeper with Train Heartnet. They don't share the story of how the met. A Sweeper will capture or kill any demon or human for a sum of reward money.
Abilities:
Inventor: Sven is skilled in inventing and making innovative weapons and other various equipment, including bombs and special bullets for Train.

Vision Eye: A transplanted eye from his partner Lloyd, who was a clairvoyent. The Vision Eye gives Sven the ability to see a few seconds into the future and allows him to dodge attacks easily. It also allows him to see Crossings efficiently. However, since the eye is not naturally his, using its power puts a massive strain on Sven's body, so he normally keeps it under an eye patch.He later evolves it, through intense training, into the Glasper Eye, which literally allows him to manipulate time. However, using these abilities does strain him very much, so he mainly relies on his gadgets. His suitcase is an entire arsenal.
