"According to rumors on the Net, the inhabitants of Urbadelphia are quite strange..."
-----
I looked at the two boxes in my hands, quietly comparing prices. I was wearing my glasses, just in case - I wanted to be prepared if any of those strange... occurrences happened. The glasses were getting odd looks, but I pretended not to notice.
Deciding on the better buy (with help from my calculator function - the glasses were pretty useful even for normal things), I slipped it into my basket, and the other box back on the shelf. I pulled up my list again, quietly checking off an item before scrolling the display down to the next item.
"Milk..." I murmured to myself as I walked over to the refrigerated section.

Kyoshiro sighed as he entered the refigerated section of All-Mart, he hadn't yet checked out the accommodation that he'd been assigned, he decided he may as well purchase a few things first. For a start, he never trusted the goods he found in an apartment, even if the place had been set up by The Jōtō Section. He was going to grab some banana flavored milk, admittedly an obsession of his when he almost bumped into a kid, no older than 15. "Hey!" He called out "Sorry about that, I didn't see you there." He wasn't being hostile to the kid, but he wasn't being too friendly either.

I was walking around Urbadelphia. I managed to get lost from Kiara on the way to her cafe. I was clearly confused and lost, but none of the citizens really seemed to care. But it was still something to look at, the town and people. But my throat was still dry. I sigh. I was still exhausted from binding all of those demons at once... I saw a market, and almost ran inside. I ran over to the fridges and grabbed about two of everything I could manage to grab. I laughed, cracking on open. "Hey, green-haired kid! You gotta pay for those!" The clerk yells. "Pay?" I ask. I frown, realizing that I didn't have any money. "I-I'm sorry, sir! I can work it off! I didn't mean to forget my wallet!"

I knew I should have gone yesterday, I'm so tired!
Shiki yawned and walked into the All-Mart, searching the aisles. To her dismay she had ran out of coffee, and was itching for some caffeine. Yes, she could always go and buy some at a cafe, but she liked having it around at her apartment too. Deciding to take a short cut through one aisle, she turned down it...
And slipped.
Landing on her bottom, she groaned. She could feel eyes on her back and blushed, embarrassed.

I was pulling a small jug of milk from the refrigerator when I was jostled.
I turned and nodded respectfully to the man who'd bumped into me. "Sorry," I murmured. I got a decent look at him - his hair was a dark shade of purple, something I'd never seen before on a man. I was wondering about it when my attention was distracted by another man helplessly checking for his wallet.
Despite the seemingly cold demeanor that most people see from me, I couldn't just let that happen. Bowing again to the earlier man, I came to his aid.
"Here, this should be enough," I said the the older boy with (again) oddly-colored hair, pulling some cash from my own wallet.
"You have to go up to the front to pay," I added, pointing.
I didn't know why he might not know that, but I didn't want to take any chances.
All of a sudden, there seemed to be people all around me.
I'm not goo with strangers, so I took a small step backward; pulling up my display again, I scrolled down and checked off Milk, searching for the next item.

Kyoshiro simply grunted in the kids direction before watching some guy pretty much steal some drinks and a woman fall over onto her rear, he sighed before rubbing the bridge of his nose, Sir Alastair appearing invisible to everyone else next to him. Both of them now holding a hand to the bridge of their nose.
"I swear Alastair" Kyoshiro thought "If the members of the Network in this city are like the people in this supermarket... I'm going to be solving this problem alone..." the spirit nodded in agreement, resting a hand on the hilt of his longsword he spoke "Indeed, Mr Ayanokōji, it doth seem clumsiness is apparent in this location..."
Suddenly, Kyoshiro felt the presence of the Otherborn near him, and groaned audibly... Now he just hoped that these people weren't actually involved with The Network, more for his own sake and patience.

I take the money from the strange boy. He was clearly younger than me. A lot shorter, that's for sure. "Thank you! So much!" I yell to the boy, chugging down the rest of what I realized after was iced tea. The rest of the drinks were paid for in a moment, and almost all drank after that. I turn around, then notice the boy still there, looking in the fridges. I move towards him. "Thanks a lot for that! It really helped." I say, kind of hesitantly. I realized he was human suddenly. And I'm... not too good with them. "Can I repay you somehow?" ((Sorry, going offline for the night. xP))

Amidst all this friendly chaos there was something that...wasn't friendly. Droplets of blood could be seen a good foot or two away from Shiki, they originated in front of the aisle with medical supplies and left a trail leading off elsewhere in the store.

Shiki sighed and stood up, then turned around to the people staring at her. She gave them a look that clearly meant to quit looking at her and most turned away. Might as well go the other way to avoid any stares. As she was about to head in a different direction she noticed the blood on the floor, and decided to follow its trail, wondering if someone was hurt.

The tiny trail led to the employee only door where it was slightly ajar, inside Sora was attempting to self bandage over a series of wounds on his upper left chest and mid-section. His coat laid on the side, tattered bloody remains of his shirt lying like a rag. He hissed as he clumsily tried to wrap bandages all around the upper left section of his chest.

Kyoshiro was suddenly nudged by Sir Givven. The spirit rarely had to make contact with him, Kyoshiro could feel his presence, but that meant something was up. Turning to face the Knight, he noticed he held the hilt of his longsword ready for battle. Kyoshiro nodded and delved into his suitcase to grab his Katana. He still hadn't met any danger but he trusted Sir Givven with all of his heart.
"Where's the trouble..?" he asked at which point the spirit motioned to the trail of blood. Kyoshiro nodded and summoned his mask to his free right hand and made his way towards the trail, aiming to follow it, Sir Givven had sensed something, he had to be cautious.

I could see the blood, and something clung to it. I lifted the glasses; the blood remained, but the clinging... something was gone; it was... it was with those strange happenings and creatures that I had seen.
"Is that... blood?" I asked, kneeling next to it, oblivious to the rest of the world. The redhead had followed after it, but I allowed the glasses to analyze and report - it was, indeed, blood.
"Whose, I wonder?" I muttered out loud, standing up, grabbing my basket. I then decided to follow after it, and the redhead - if someone was hurt, if someone needed help, if something like the things was happening again... would it get me any closer to the mystery of Kanna's death.

Shiki followed the trail and stared at the employee only door for a moment before peeking inside. She held back a gasp as she saw that it was Sora who was indeed hurt. Glancing around to make sure no one was looking, she opened the door enough for her to sneak in, then moved it back to the position it had been in before.
"What the hell happened?" Shiki looked at Sora, her expression concerned. He seemed to be having trouble, so she stepped forward. "I think you need some help with that."

Sora was half reaching for his gun when he saw who was there he lowered his weapon.
"Oh, hey cowgirl...I was going to pay for these you know, the store didn't have to send someon-ow, ow," he winced, "okay, can't make jokes it seems..."

She winced at his pain and walked over to him. She picked up a bandage and turned towards him. "Who cares right now, just stand still okay?" Without waiting for his response she started helping him with the bandaging. She wasn't an expert medic, but it was worth something. "Sorry if this hurts, I'm not exactly a nurse or anything."
