I wondered how long it would take until I wrote something for Kyoshiro, apparently I guessed right at 'less than a week'. Anyways! I just thought I'd keep it short and simple and just talk about what happened directly before Kyoshiro got started in the 'New to town' thread and then in turn onto the 'Planning An Entry' plot thread :3
~
A young man stood to attention in front of a desk, which had another man seated behind it. The one stood locked in place had purple hair and a pair of glasses over his eyes, his uniform was black and silver in colour and he stared admirably at the man who was seated before him. “Kyoshiro…” The man said as he flicked open a file and started to read through it, reeling off a few little details to the agent in front of his desk “Skilled in combat, natural born leader, good at pulling off disguises…” Kyoshiro smiled to himself at the compliments, but then the man reading his file sighed and his face dropped “It seems that a week and a half ago, you were running a clean sweep…” A clean sweep was a term within Kyoshiro’s organization for cleaning up the damage of a crossing and making sure no civilians know what’s going on in order to prevent the general public even knowing that demons really do exist. “Ah…” Kyoshiro muttered, his gaze dropping down to his well polished shoes for a moment before snapping back up to the man behind the desk.
“According to this file, you were running a clean sweep with a few other members of Jōtō Section when a local newspaper reporter showed up claiming that he’d heard of strange goings on within the vicinity of the area… Before I go on, would you want to give your side of the story?” The man had grey thinning hair, and a small beard. He looked up at Kyoshiro with striking blue eyes that just oozed a sense of power that this man did indeed control. Jōtō Section was much like The Network in a sense, but they were much more secretive and much more violent in their actions, in fact, The Network asked for their services from time to time, they specialized as assassins primarily, skilled Otherborn and Halfers who move through to the Otherworld and assassinate a high ranking demon and pull out before they can breach through onto Earth.
Kyoshiro cleared his throat, he wouldn’t lie to the old man, he already knew the truth anyway. “We’d finished the majority of the cleaning and I was covering the crossing site, a journalist came forwards and asked to take pictures and get a report on the matter for the local paper…” he paused for a moment “I told him, in harsher words, to get lost” The old man nodded with a slight chuckle “And by ‘harsh words’ I’m assuming you’re referencing the part where you punched him in the jaw and knocked him unconscious?” Kyoshiro shook his head “That was afterwards, Sir.” He said honestly, raising a chuckle from the old man. “Alright then Kyoshiro, fair enough, I appreciate your honesty. Despite the fact that this is your second reprimand for assault on a civilian, you’ve been a good agent for the Jōtō Section, and as such I’m promoting you to the rank of General” Kyoshiro raised an eyebrow, being a General in the Jōtō Section was something to be proud of, but if he was being honest, after two cases of assault he was surprised he was still even a member of the Section let alone being promoted…
“Sir..?” He asked causing an eyebrow to be raised from the old man “What is it Kyoshiro?” Ayanokōji coughed into his hand before once again standing to attention “Well, shouldn’t you be kicking me out of the Section right now, rather than promoting me, Sir?” The old man finally stood up, revealing he was rather tall, somewhat taller than Kyoshiro at least; he turned to the window and held his hands behind his back “You remind me a lot of me when I was younger Kyoshiro…” he looked over his shoulder at the newly promoted General “I have a feeling that if you keep working how you are, you’ll end up being the head of this Section one day…” He sighed and looked down at his feet before turning to face Kyoshiro with a smile “Your new uniform is waiting for you in the barracks, I’m sure gold will suit you” Kyoshiro saluted the old man and turned to leave before he spoke up “Oh, Kyoshiro…” The purple haired General turned back to look at the Commander of Jōtō Section “Yes, Sir?” he asked. “I have your first assignment, and it’s an important one… You know how we’re The Network’s last resort in a sense?” Kyoshiro nodded “Well, they’re currently in Code Beta, I’m sending you down to clear up the mess” Kyoshiro nodded and turned to leave “Good luck General Ayanokōji”
In the barracks, Kyoshiro had a quick shower and changed into his new black and gold uniform. Admiring the suit in the mirror he smirked before packing his things into his suitcase and heading outside. His brief that had been laying on his bed had informed him that a taxi was waiting outside for him, stepping outside and opening the door, the driver turned to face him “General?” He asked, at which Kyoshiro nodded before stating “Take me to the All-Mart first, I want some supplies…” With that, the driver nodded before igniting the engine and driving Kyoshiro Ayanokōji further into Urbadelphia.

There you go guys! I enjoyed writing this more than I should considering how dull it was content wise in comparison to my usual stories :')
Still, I'ma look forward to writing more for Kyoshiro!
