Once on the dance floor I turn to face Neku as a kind of slow dance song begins, "Shall I lead? Or you?"

"You'd better," I mumbled, more than a little embarrassed. I glanced over at where Lea and Aya were dancing - perfectly. I made a mental note to figure out where Lea had learned to dance and get them to teach me.

"Alright... So its okay if I play the guy for this then?" I say as I take one of his hands in mine. "As in... My hand goes on your waist... And if so... Your hand better not slip Neku~."

I just really, really, really hoped Lea was too preoccupied to pay attention to details. I was going to get teased mercilessly for letting the girl lead.

I place my hand on his waist and smile at him, "I don't think I've had a chance to say this ever before... You're handsome tonight." I then begin to move, carefully planning our movements so at first we stay close to where we started but then I'm branching out and taking what open space on the floor I can. I loved dancing, especially when I have to think about it. Takes my mind off of things.

I let her lead, and it actually wasn't hard to follow... I smiled. This was actually relaxing, dancing with her. I needed to get someone to teach me to dance so that I could actually do a decent job of it.

I smile to Neku, "You're not half bad." Two more steps and I should spin him, yeah, there is enough of an opening right... There! And I go to spin him, hoping he's not to embarrassed by it, but it gives me a rush of excitement none the less.

I grinned. Okay, being spun by a girl? Yeah, maybe not exactly the 'manly' thing. But then I took an instinct and spun her as well, and we came back together with a rush of adrenaline coursing through our veins. It was... magic. Goddamn magic. I was wearing a stupid costume, dancing with my Coordinator, who was leading, and losing every last inch of guy cred I probably had... but I was having a blast, and it was with her, so I considered it for a moment before tossing it out the window. Who gave an eff?

"Lie again. You can't let her know."
Shizuo, despite his chaotic tendencies, hated lying, especially to someone like Aqua but he knew that in this situation he had no other choice. "I've been good..." he lied "Kasuka's been in a bit of a mood so I guess I'm quite happy to get out and away too... How about you? You been letting your hair down?" Before she could answer, Shizuo saw a sight that made his face drop, Tom was returning with a cocktail in hand.
"Shit, shit, shit!" he growled within his own mind.
"Aqua!" Tom called out, approaching the pair "It is Aqua, right? I saw you sing at the Veil the other day, mighty impressive!" he raised an eyebrow, looking to Shizuo then back to Aqua "Say, maybe you can talk some sense into this knuckle head? I can't even get him to slow it down!"
If Shizuo's face hadn't dropped enough already, it did now. Tom had thrown him in the deep end now...

Aqua had known Shizuo had been lying to her, but then... Tom was it? Finalized her growing irritation to a full blown hurt expression. She frowns at her boyfriend, "What had he been up to?" Her eyes are narrowed, but she's more angry about the fact that he had lied to her than anything he could be doing right now. "Nothing stupid I hope." Like lying to someone whom only wants to help!

"I am." he responds to Shiki, taking off the mask to confirm her suspicions. Sora Shimomura, not only with a -shocking- attitude change but his hair all slicked back with one tiny strand sticking out over his forehead.

Shizuo resisted the urge to slap Tom right across his silly little dreadlocked head and instead looked down at Aqua, he had a feeling that suddenly this was going to be a long, long night... Taking hold of her wrist he started leading her towards the exit "Come on..." he said "We're going to have a little talk..."

Aqua's eyes grow worried now, ''What have you gotten yourself into... Okay." She allows herself to be lead outside and waits for an explanation.

He sighed as he stepped outside, turning to face Aqua he took his mask off of his face and held it at his side "Alright..." he said looking across at her "Ask away"

Aqua frowns and pull off her own mask, no longer resembling a bird-human mix. She sighs and says, "What did Tom mean? What are you up to? You aren't doing anything stupid are you...? Shizuo... Tell me everything... And no more... Lying... That hurts, a lot."
