Pit flew around anything he almost came into contact to...
...Which was basically everything in sight.
It was raining, windy and cold. 'Of course it has to be the day I choose to switch places..' He thought bitterly to himself, as he noticed the dark grey clouds seeming to get angrier and darker the farther he flew. The winged-teen looked down to check if there was a place to land-- at least until the storm was over... And yet again, lady luck wasn't on Pit's side, because under him was nothing but even more grey clouds.
"Whatever.." Pit grumbled, deciding to land rather then to stay up in the sky.
Now was not the best time to fly.
But before Pit could even so much as to flap his wings, he felt a sharp pain strike in the very middle of where his wings sat, and suddenly he was falling, tumbling and his wings decided to retreat into his back.
And then Pit fell unconscious.
Clearly today was not his day.

Lea hated stormy days.
It wasn't really anything he could put his finger on, but he figured it had something to do with the day he'd been taken. It had been stormy that day, or so he'd heard, but he didn't really remember it. He did remember that he'd never seen a stormy day since then, at least until he Crossed - rather, the fire-spurts and firestorms of Ifrit's domain served as their bad weather. It didn't help that rain had a tendency to go at least partway to undoing the effects of the spiking gel that helped keep his horns hidden.
So much water falling from the sky made him uneasy.
It wasn't water, however, that caught him on this stormy day. It was the falling body of a kid crashing into him. It knocked him clean over, right into a puddle of water, although he was able to catch whoever it was and roll to dampen both of their falls. Still, his hair was ruined... and his horns exposed for the world to see.
Dammit. He hated rainy days.

Pit could feel water pouring all over him. Was one of his snooty little step-sisters spilling a bucket of water over his head while he was sleeping again?
The teen's blue eyes shot open, ready to yell at one of those little brats, when he noticed he was outside. And it was raining. And he was soaked. And he had squished a man.
Pit's eyes widened. He had squished a man?
The celestial teen jumped off, mumbling a whole bunch of apologies for things that didn't even remotely make any sense.

He groaned, sitting up, wiping a mass of wet, red hair from his eyes.
"Don't worry about it," Lea told him, chuckling. "It's okay. I'm just glad you're not hurt or something; did you fall from one of those buildings?"
He combed back another hunk of wet hair with his fingers, wincing as they brushed one horn. Dammit, dammit, dammit, the gel had come out because he hadn't had time to re-do it, and they were showing to the world. Better make no big deal, the kid might not even notice. He hoped.

Pit gave a look of confusion.
For a second, he thought he saw horns. Good gosh, if he did see horns, then.. A shiver trailed his spine.
Snapping back to reality, Pit nodded as quickly as possible. "Yeah. Building...Err... There." And he pointed in a random direction.
No, Pit Icarus was one horrible liar.

He laughed.
"You're not a very good liar, y'know?" He got up off the ground, brushing water from his clothes - at least, attempting to - and shaking at least some out of his hair, which he promptly brushed back out of his face afterwards. "Where'd you come from? You don't look like a demon, so you probably didn't Cross through..." He mumbled this to himself, taking it on a hunch - not a big leap, the kid had just fllen from the sky - that he wasn't a normal kid.

The celestial teen furrowed his brows together. "Hey! I... I am a fine liar! I just--" Pit stopped completely, one word playing over in his head as he face-palmed to himself.
Busted.
"Uh, I mean--" Pit cut himself off again, which prevented himself from looking like an even bigger fool, when he noticed the tall red-headed man wasn't even listening to him...
...Was he talking to himself?

He raised an eyebrow, an amused expression on his face.
"Come on, I'm not going to kill you. Where'd you come from? Like I said, I didn't feel any sort of Crossing, and you don't look like a demon, so you're probably not from the other side. So, what were you doing falling out of the sky? You look pretty miserable, whatever the case."

Pit ran a hand through his messy brown hair. 'Well, might as well tell him now.' He thought to himself, breathing out a great sigh.
"M'from Caelus, Orbis. You probably never heard of it before. Not a popular place, and super far from here." Pit paused for a moment, checking over his words before speaking once more. "And.. aha.. About that sky thing...um.."
The teen fumbled with his words and played with his fingers.
"Can I just um.. show you or something?"

He shrugged. "Go ahead," he said. "Trust me, you can't surprise me. Pretty much impossible by now."
Well, not really impossible. But it was very, very difficult. He may have only been seventeen, but he'd seen quite a lot in those seventeen years.

Pit shifted his eyes, careful to make sure no one was around other then himself and... Mr. Tall... red-headed... man. Finally, after making sure no one was sure to see, the brunet slipped his oceanic blue eyes shut and spread his arms out, whispering but one word,
"Wings."
He could feel them rip from his back and through his clothes, making sure to wince once finished. Slowly lowering his arms, Pit kept his eyes shut, expecting some sort of screaming and hollering.

Wings. Angels' wings, not the kind he was used to seeing on the enemies he fought. He stepped toward the kid, inspecting them.
"Wow... it's a neat power you have there," he said, smiling. THe poor kid; he was standing there, rigidly, with his eyes screwed up as if he was waiting for someone to hit him. "I'm guessing you flew here, then? And fell because of the rainstorm?"

Pit slowly cracked one eye open.
"Really?" He whispered. Pit, feeling a new surge of foreign courage, stood up straight and puffed out his chest. "I guess they are pretty cool, huh?"
But suddenly slouching over in embarrassment, the angelic-otherborn scratched at that pain in his back, while he re-hid his wings. Not a good combo, but Pit wasn't the brightest crayon in the box, now was he? Pit hid a wince before replying.
"Yeah, I've been switching towns for a while now. I'mma runaway." Taking a pause, Pit thought for a moment. "Hey, I forgot to ask earlier but... What's your power?

Good; the kid figured he was Otherborn, then.
He shrugged. "I set things on fire," he replied straightforwardly. "Its pretty showy, but its not the most uncommon power out there." He slipped his hands in his pockets; best not to alarm the kid any more than necessary.

"Fire?" Pit stared with wide eyes. For a moment he was silent, eyes cast downwards, before his eyes met with this tall man's green ones, admiration showing. "Could... Could I see? Please?"
Pit had a sheepish grin. "I know it sounds stupid... But this is the first time I've actually met someone like me."
