He was startled by that honest, straightforward sentiment.
Friends.
There were problems with having friends. And yet... how long had it been since someone had sincerely wanted to be his friend? His own recent change of heart was what prompted his own, first fully-genuine smile, and it was a shock that he realized he was becoming emotional about the subject.
It had been a long, long time since he'd met anyone like this, he thought.
"Of course!" he replied. "...Of course, we're friends now."

The tiny teen smiled, a nice fuzzy feeling was soon constructed in his heart at the sight of Joshua's smile. He felt happy. "Friends." He whispered, smiling to himself.
Suddenly there it was, out in the distance. The building with bright lights. "The veil!" Pit happily exclaimed, breaking into a run while his arm still linked onto Joshua's. "C'mon!" He said over his shoulder through a big smile.

Before he could protest, he was being pulled along by the arm toward a building emanating light and music. It had kind of a call to it, and he couldn't help but be reminded a little bit of certain places he'd been to in Shibuya. His smile widened.
Did that man have something to do with this place? He wondered.

Once arriving to his destination, Pit let go of Joshua's arm for a second to hold onto his knees and pant heavily. He wasn't use to running, since flying was more his thing.
"Ta-" he panted. "Dah!" Pit said, standing up straight while trying to calm his breathing. 'Gosh, I'm so unhealthy' he thought while holding on to the edge of his sweater. "What do you-" he paused to breath once more "Think? Cool, huh?"

"It looks like an interesting place," he said, smirking as he examined the building.

"Yeah, it is, isn't it?" Pit replied once he was able to calm his breathing. But now that he thought about it, the whole reason he got lost was because he wanted to get to know the place, and even though he did so, he learned close to nothing about the area he was currently living in. Sighing, Pit just shrugged to himself and turned to Joshua.
"Do you want to come inside with me?" Hey, might as well stay with Josh while he could, right?

Pit grinned softly. It wasn't really that late out, but he felt the need to sleep anyways. Giving a quick stretch of his arms, he slowly linked their arms together again, this time making sure not to freak him out, like he thought he would. "Well... Let's... Go?"

"Sure. I'm interested to see inside." He didn't mind it, really. If this was the role he was to play, so be it. To be honest? He was actually having fun.
