The Ciste Vihad

"You must never touch something if you don't know what it is...

If only I'd known these words, when I was so little... But I couldn't stop myself... I had to save my sister, Raspberry. I entered the castle of the wicked queen, the one who took my sister. But I was discovered, and locked in a closet... for future use, she had said. She thrives off the bodies of young women...

But I was let out, by a women named Jake. She was hunting the queen. She told me to run. And I did... for a while. Until I found the hooked weapon that Raspberry and I were forced to craft for the cruel witch. And it... spoke to me. It called out for me to touch it, to save Raspberry. I couldn't resist the call.

My body was taken by a demon known as an Ill, demons who hide in objects to bait humans, and take their bodies. And mine was taken by a demon with the power of thorns. The demon discovered for me that Raspberry was killed by the queen, and drained of every drop of blood. But Jake encountered the demon before it could kill the queen. Jake is a fortune teller. But above that, she is a Ciste Vihad, a hunter of Ill. Because the demon had made a bargain with Jake, not to be killed, the demon has permitted itself to sleep within my body, granting me access to its powers, allowing me to transform into a Ciste Vihad. Niether human, nor demon...

I must now pose as a boy. For if I am ever to find love with a man, the Ill will take my body once more...

I work under Jake now, hunting the Ill. I am strong. I can use the powerful thorns of the Ill inside me, to create weapons... traps... almost anything I'd need for combat. Jake has recently asked me to check out a town, by the name of Urbadelphia. She says that there is a constant wave of demons. But she doesn't believe that they are Ill. The Ill are intelligent, and these attacks don't match their normal patterns. She wishes for me to investigate it, and the civilians around it.

So here I am, in this odd town...

Alright! First of all - how did March come to Urbadelphia? Is she from another world? Is she from another country? THe Ills and Ciste Vihad I can probably work into the world, but I need to know a little more about how where March comes from interacts with Urbadelphia.

Right, my apologies.

I'm going to say that March's world is a part of Urbadelphia's world. She is from Europe, England more specifically. But eh, it's 17th Century Europe with her... Not so modern-day. >_>" Blahhh, give me some time to figure out how a time leap could happen like that. -_-"

Maybe a small, little-known European country that still seems stuck in the 17th Century? Or, possibly, is still stuck in the 17th century due to a demonic confrontation 400 years ago that spawned the ills and trapped it in a time bubble, that only people with strong connections to the Otherworld can enter or leave?

Interesting theories. The first one seems most likely. Only because the second one has no relevance to March. She has no ties to the Otherworld.

Actually, the Ciste Vihad thing would be an interesting exception. The Ill have the ties to the OtherWorld, and the Ill inside of her grants access to Urbadelphia. I like that, actually. Let us use this.
