Hello there! Neku here.

I realize we need an Announcements board. I'll just use Chat for now.

ANYWAY.

September - the beginning of fall. Leaves turn colors, cooler breezes blow... but like summer, September is nearly dead.

Coming up is October. Month of fall's triumphant victory over the last vestiges of summer. What's more, October is the month of the supernatural; ghosts and ghouls begin to stir in their graves, witches start brewing their best potions... demons start to begin their journey Across.

All of this culminates in Halloween, the one day where the supernatural is free to spread its bony claws freely over our world.

So, in celebration of this spooktacular month, and it's ending holiday, some things are going to happen around here.

First, a new plot arc will open. This plot arc is halfway through planning; it'll definitely be finished in the next few days. The plot will be open to every member of the forum, and will introduce the forum's first recurring villains. Who those are, you'll just have to find out. ANyone interested in playing a plot-specific NPC should PM me.

Second, a video editing event will open October 1st. I'm looking for votes from the video editig community (and the community in general) - what would you like to see/participate in? The choices are - a Contest, a WORM, or an MEP. Each option will be centered around Otherborn as a whole. Are you in?

We're waiting to know what you think! Just post your responses in comment.

Well, right now, it looks like it's gonna be an MEP, since Noctis and Aya have both indicated to me that that would be their preference - but I'm still waiting to hear from everyone else.

You have until the first to put in your preference, otherwise - MEP it is.

I'm also taking song suggestions.

It's a video editing term.

An MEP is where everyone edits different fragments of one song; the results are then put together to make a single video. Examples of that can be found here or here.

A WORM is where everyone edits 35-40 seconds of a different song each; the result is supposed to be like a collage of music. Examples of that can be found here or here.

I've seen what you guys can do with the films I am not so good at that lol.
