Background: His father was a Páthos Daímonas, which in Greek, meant passion demon. But that alone was already a crime, because Páthos Daímonas were not apreciated in the otherworld, for their quick mood swings, odd personalities and their (well, most of their) abilities to control emotions. Anyway, Vanitas' father met his mother in a town by the name of Radiant Garden, while serving a punishment for lashing out in front of a very important demon. Oddly enough, she was a huge Sociopath who was a absolute void of feelings, and didn't like anything or anyone. Somehow, Vanitas' Father got her to do.. Specific things, and voila! There's baby Vanitas, the odd Halfer. But, of course, nothing lasts, and the child's parents end up dying. His father ended up taking care of the little tyke until fifteen, then died in punishment for getting a human girl pregnant (which demons didn't know about until he blurted it out in a fit of rage), whilst his mother died giving birth. Once Vanitas' father didn't return home, the fifteen year old Halfer moved to Urbadelphia, to live in a foster home. He ended up running away during the night at the age of sixteen (smashed a whole window), took a job at all-mart and recently bought his own place in an apartment building.
Powers: Since Vanitas is part Páthos Daímonas, he has powers connected to emotions. Though he isn't an empath, like most Páthos Daímonas children, he can instead create small demons out of specific emotions. (Ex; Anger, hatred, fear, shame, sadness, irritation, {sometimes} boredom) But since he dislikes using his demons for anything, he can also summon a weapon called void gear.
Personality: Being the a child of a Páthos Daímonas and a Sociopath, he ended up getting a little bit of both his parents. He acts arrogant and/or teasing whenever he isn't being silent, rude and bottled up about his feelings, and it's extremely rare to get him to actually show some of his 'true self'.
