"Hell yes!" My fist pumps into the air as another dummy is 'k.o.ed' by my mad skills. Of course, stupid me forgot the game is still on and suddenly I'm whacked on the head by the spell enchanted figures. Growling I swing at them, barely missing by a centimeter. "Dammit... Rule one: Focus."
My anxious heart beat calms down and my hearing picks up in its loss, my sense of smell decreases in exchange for my sense of touch to increase. I can both hear and feel the vibrations of the bodies around me. All cold, all lifeless beyond the magic placed upon them to move.
...Well, most of them anyways...
...Is that.... Is that laughter?
Peals of an angelic laugh hit my currently sensitive ears and I brake focus as I whirl around, trying to find the source.
----
"You're so funny, Dori," The girl giggles as she leans against me, her laughter not helping her keep her balance. No. She's not intoxicated or anything like that, she's just being a klutz right now. Nothing that a little assistance can't fix. Her brown eyes flash with excitement as I lead her to her... Home?
"You live in a cave," My tone is hard, but my voice confused. "Is this really where you live?" Long sentences aren't my thing, I hope she answers instead of bringing me about in a circle like out last conversation.
"Yup! Don't you? Caves are the best," She giggles more and then begins playing with my hair. I sigh at that. Why is it always the ditzy ones I get stuck with? And why do they always like my hair? "Is this your natural color?"
"Silver with the slightest of blue tint?" She nods at my question while I just nod in response to her. She opens her mouth again when a voice -I'm both thankful and depressed by this voice- calls to us.
"Dori? Who is that?" Suddenly my blue haired brother is skidding to a stop next to us. "And why is she clinging to you like a cat in heat?"
"That's mean," The girl sticks out her tongue at Sini whom sticks his tongue back at her. She frowns before smiling. "Can I call him meanie?"
Sini laughs before, "I prefer it to Sini." Using his only skills of reverse psychology on this girl and she just smirks.
"Okay Sini... Isn't that a girl's name?"
"Why I hate it."
"So Sini," She smirks more. "Why ya houndin' us?"
He shrugs, "Heard you're laughter, wondering what sweet girl my brother picked up... I see now that the angel I thought you were isn't true... For angel's do not judge, that is god's will." He laughs at her confused expression before she just shouts meanie again.
This is going to be a long twenty foot walk...
---
And... this is all I can think of right now, maybe more later?
