The Hunt for the Remnants (Open)

[Sephiroth]

Sephiroth sat on top of the Black Hole Stadium, looking at a map of the city. He was searching the map over and over. "Where are they?" He asked himself, then he closed his eyes. He tried to sense the Remnants, but there was no luck. "Why cannot I not find them?" He hopped down from the top of the stadium, and landed outside of the Stadium. He started to walk, and felt a person near by, feeling an odd present with the person.

[Jack of Blades]

"Someone looks like they're in need of assistance." Jack was stood behind Sephiroth in his Demon form, red cloak on, face in it's masked form and plated armour covering his chest, arms and legs. Jack relished the opportunity to stand in the presence of another demon lord and was happy that he wasn't alone when it came to being a demon of such high stature. Of course, he was also running a risk. Not a lot of fellow demon lords were fond of the Jack of Blades, after all he didn't openly prosecute Halfers like the others did and he openly let Halfers and Otherborn walk his realm so long as they did not cause trouble. But he could sense that this lord in particular was searching for something... And it just so happened that Jack had a good clue as to what.

[Sephiroth]

"Well, well. I wouldn't have imaged running into a demon lord in a such casual manner." Sephiroth said as he turned around, "And it is Jack no less. A demon I would have least expected to offer assistance." He stood there, then gave a grin. "Why would you want to help me?"

[Jack of Blades]

"It is common fact that you wish to rule over the demons." He gave a brief shrug before continuing. "If you want that, you need the backing of some of the Lords at least. Of course you can have my support but their is one small issue with that, well two rather." He had his hands held behind his back like some sort of military general. "I no longer have control of the Void. My realm of the demon universe. Unlike you, if I want to fulfil my aims, I need only the help of a few people. As such, I am here to offer you a proposition." He stepped closer to Sephiroth. "I shall help you find the remnants of your mother's spirit, so long a you help me regain the Void. And after that, you shall have my full support in fighting the Devil."

[Sephiroth]

"So, I become your soldier, and then after the void has been clean, you become mine." Sephiroth asked, then he chuckled in his normal way, "So, that is all you see me is as? A garbage man? One would see this as an insult, Jack."

[Jack of Blades]

"Tut. You twist my words Sephiroth." Jack said in an almost mocking tone. "Consider the claiming of the Void a securing bargain to begin the alliance between us!" He added on the end, nodding slightly and holding up his right palm, red mist swirling inside of it. In the midst of the mist, it was possible to see a dim, glowing light, the light of someone's soul. "I found this little beauty decades ago, before I even crossed the veil onto this realm, admittedly it is one of the weaker portions of the soul, but still, you want them all do you not?" Underneath his mask he smirked.

"It is yours, so long as you agree to my deal."

[Sephiroth]

Sephiroth smirked as he looked at the soul. "You play quite well." Sephiroth said as he took the soul. "What do I need to do, to clean the void?" He asked summoning his long brilliant sword into his left hand.

[Jack of Blades]

"Ooh, someone's eager?" Jack said with a small shake of his head. "Alas, we are not yet ready, whilst you will play an integral part to my plan, I need others." Jack's thoughts ran through his mind as he spoke, mentally he was making note of what he needed. He had the swordsmen that he wanted in Sephiroth and Riku, but now he needed an ally with superior magical ability, to side with Otar. He already had his army of Minions at this point so that was no issue.

"I have implanted a small amount of my mist into that fragment for you, when I am ready to initiate my plans, I shall call for you, and fear not. I do not expect someone of your standing to be at my beck and call constantly, no. You have my word that I shall only get in touch when absolutely necessary.

[Sephiroth]

"Good, I gave up just being someone's soldier long ago." Sephiroth said, as walked away. "I look forward to our little... arrangement, Jack." Sephiroth's one black wing came out of his back, and he then flew away.
