[Riku Nomura]

Riku's Story

Theme: Deadpool's Theme (MvC 3)

Hearing rumors of dark dealings and wispears of a plan going on in his former home of Urbadelphia, Riku has returned to find that much has changed in the time he has been away with members of The Network ether serving the government or retired. To top it all off the demons and halfers are nowhere to be seen. It would seem peace has come at last but unfortunately Riku knows this is just the calm before the storm...

Time to spread the message that the Ghost Rider has come back...

Rival Fights:

Neku Sakuraba: [Enemy/Misunderstanding]: Riku's vigilante crusade has alerted the government to his return and with Neku being the only one besides Sora to know the extent of his abilities Neku has been sent in to arrest him or if all else fails, kill him.

Shiki Misaki: [Enemy]: With Neku's defeat at the hands of Riku Shiki has sprung into action infuriated at Riku for tarnishing Sora's name by taking his abilities and form. Riku tries to tell her that he's trying to figure out what has happened and the dark dealings going on but she refuses to listen so Riku is forced to make her listen...

Sora Shimomura?: [Enemy/Unknown]: With his mission almost over all that remains is to break the hold the Government has over The Network but as Riku approaches their HQ for Urbadelphia a fiery being emerges from the ground revealing Sora! But something's off about him almost as if he's not the same. Not given time to try and reason with his best friend Riku is forced to attack his former best friend...

Tag Team Battle!: Sora/Riku vs Sora? and Hellfire creation: (MvC3 - Theme of Captain America)

"Sora" beats down Riku and just as he is about to strike the final blow a fireball hits him causing him to stumble. Riku looks up to reveal the real Ghost Rider who helps him to his feet and prepares to take down the imposter. Responding angerly the imposter creates a hellfire creation from Riku's memories to match the newly arrived fighter.

Standing together Sora and Riku prepare for one more battle...

Ending: The Network has been freed but his actions have had severe repercussions as Riku is now wanted by the Government for his actions but with his resolve renewed Riku takes off into the night blending in with the darkness only to emerge when he's needed as demons have returned to the city once again but he will be ready for them.

As he takes watch one night just out of the corner of his eye he sees a young man with blue eyes and brown spiky hair with what looks like a small smile but he disappears just as fast.

"Sora...Glad to see you back. I'll carry on your legacy, live your life. You deserve it."

[Neku Sakuraba]

Neku's Story:

Theme: MvC3 - Theme of Dr. Doom

The once-proud Network that Neku built up from the crumbling foundations of the old organization has again been brought to its knees. No more than lapdogs for the CIA, Neku hates what happened to the principles he dedicated his life to. Now darkness stirs in Urbadelphia, and his bet is that the CIA is in on the conspiracy - as his own powers begin to grow in mysterious new ways, he decides that it's time for the Network to rise once more....

A text message is sent, privately, to the rest of the Old Network, rousing it from sleep: "Code Alpha".

Rival Fights:

Lea Strife [Friendly/Misunderstanding]: Neku's oldest friend, Lea challenges Neku to see if the young man has finally regained the resolve that forged their friendship in the flames of the last big war. He doesn't believe Neku has what it takes to be the Head anymore, and he's ready to do whatever he has to to knock some sense back into his friend.

Izaya Orihara [Enemy?]: (A different song plays for this fight: Darkness Rises) A master manipulator and puppetmaster, the demon seeks Neku out for reasons unknown, taunting him with tidbits about his hazy past and goading him until he snaps. Tired of being jerked around, and with Izaya near the top of his list of possible ringleaders for the crisis, Neku snaps, unleashing even greater powers than he knew he had. Still, the information broker has a few tricks up his own fur-lined sleeves...

Crimson Viper [Enemy]: Promoted to a top agent since the CIA's victory over the Network, she's sent personally to hunt Neku down and return him to the CIA. They need him controlled - and if he won't be controlled, he must be destroyed...

Ending: The Network cells awaken from sleep; the Code Alpha is successful, and the Network frees itself to rebuild once again. The darkness, though not completely eliminated, is poised for a defeat. Neku stands on a roof, looking down at the small, velvet box cupped in one hand, opening it to reveal a ring.

Still, the CIA won't let go so easily, and unanswered questions niggle in his mind - Izaya's vague taunts about his past, and the unexplained growth of his powers, still trouble him. He sighs, puts the box back into his pocket, and looks out over Urbadelphia.

Perhaps, his journey is just beginning...

[Shizuo Heiwajima]

Shizuo’s Story

Theme: The Cerberus Plot - Mass Effect 3

For Shizuo, married life was dull. It was not that he did not care for his new family, far from it, he loved Aqua and he was growing to love Sini just as much. But he missed some of the old days, back when he spent his evenings charging after demons and getting paid to save some small insignificant area or ranch outside of the city from those who dare cross over to this world. With a heavy heart, his right hand reached across to his left and played with the ring on his finger, and he remembered Izaya. Izaya was the reason he was like this, he could not feel complete of demon hunting with that one contract outstanding, he needed to finish one last job. Standing up, he made to leave their small house in the outskirts to hunt down Izaya.

Rival Battles

Aqua Heiwajima: [Enemy/Misunderstanding]

Safe to say, Aqua isn’t happy about Shizuo reverting to his old ways and going after Izaya, as such she feels that it’s up to her to stop him. Pleading that they’ve worked so hard to hide from the CIA and that so many others have suffered in the attempt, she can’t let Shizuo risk their safety. Whilst he tries to reason with her, stating that he needs to do this, she takes it upon herself to stop him, with physical force if need be.

Sininen Heiwajima: [Friendly]

Shizuo lasts under Aqua’s assault, letting her tire herself he eventually carries her back into the house and assures her that he’ll make sure that he returns, for all of their sakes. She reluctantly breaks under his resolve and lets him go, he leaves the house and heads towards Izaya’s office, on the way he is interrupted by one Sininen Heiwajima, who challenges his step-father having heard what he plans to do. He wants to make sure the ‘old man’ is up to the challenge. Shizuo decides to put him in his place.

Izaya: [Mortal Enemy]

After educating Sininen on how to graciously get his ass handed to him, he informs his young step-son that for his age, he fights well and has become a fine young warrior. At that, Sini returns home and Shizuo continues onwards towards Izaya. Bursting into his office, Izaya remarks at how long it has taken for ‘Shizu-Chan’ to get this far, Shizuo simply smirks as he states he had a few lessons to teach on the way there. With that, his Halfer blood awakens, gold flecks his eyes, and he charges the foe that he has been waiting for for so long.

Ending: Izaya’s defeated, Shizuo’s life is effectively perfected and he can finally live in peace. Returning home with a smile on his face, he returns to a handshake from Sini, and an embrace from Aqua. Just as sits down with his family and they open a bottle of wine to celebrate, the TV blares out news that strange goings-on are occurring in town, demons.

Shizuo and Sini look across at each other with large grins. “I bet I could take down twice as many as you!” Sini declares, but Shizuo shakes his head “I have the experience advantage… And height…” Just as they go to stand up, Aqua is before them, arms crossed against her chest with a frown on her face. “I’m not letting you go out there and risk your life again when you just got back!” She declares “And you’re not taking my son either…”
“Aqua…”
“Mom…”
“Unless I’m coming as well!” All three broke into wide grins.

They burst out the door together, before rushing towards town, going to enjoy the only family alone time they’ll get for a while now that the demons are back…
