Appearance: As a 12 year old boy and only about 4'11", Ciel isn't what you'd call physically intimidating but he is certainly unique in appearance. He's somewhat scrawny for his age with little apparent muscle mass though this is usually attributed to living a life of luxury. His dark hair, while not unkempt, is usually in a mop that has the tendency to hang in front of his eyes. One remarkable thing about him, however, is that he always has an eyepatch over his right eye. If you were to look under the eyepatch, you would see that his eye is imprinted with a Pentacle and varies in colour from his left.
Abilities: This is the very reason that Ciel keeps his right eye covered almost constantly. With the eyepatch removed he is able to see past events that took place in that location. He has had this ability long enough that he has managed to train himself to see events that took place within a certain time frame but not much beyond that. He does wish to be able to manipulate those memories into a sort of weapon but so far his efforts have yielded no results.
Personality: Ciel isn't normally what you'd consider a friendly person. He can be fairly callous and distant, he doesn't often joke either. Though this could possibly be attributed to the responsibilities he feels that he must uphold as the sole member of his household. He doesn't normally allow anyone to become emotionally close, always keeping them at arms length.
History: Ciel had once been a fairly happy and carefree child, living a life of dreams in England with his parents. That is until his parents died in an airplane disaster on their way to France when he was little more than 9 years of age. Suddenly saddled with the full responsibility of being the sole member of his family (with a caretaker) before he'd even turned 10. A mere four months later, as if brought on by the trauma and stress, Ciel experienced his first crossing which triggered his dormant abilities.
Ciel spent another two years in England honing his new-found abilities and carrying out his responsibilities before he ultimately left England. He headed to Urbadelphia, hoping to leave the memories of what happened behind him.
