How did I get here? Where am I? Why is everything so dark? No... Wait, there's a reason why I can't see anything. Is it because my eyes are closed? Or is it because I have no eyes? Oh god I hope I still have eyes. My hands... They're warm, slick, like I've dipped them in hot water. But it's thicker than water, something else, blood? Most likely, why was their blood on my hands? Is it mine? Someone else's? Please let it be mine! I need to keep probing, I need to know what else I can find...
I'm not in any pain, not even in my hands, that means the blood isn't mine. Which is pretty disappointing. I just hope that whoever the blood belongs to, they're still alive. I've also realized that I can't command myself to check a particular area, my body seems to be moving of its own accord and that isn't good either. What's controlling me?

I'd know that voice anywhere, it's been lurking inside of me for months for a start, last time it had control I'd blacked out and let it do as it would, yet this time I seemed fairly conscious within my own mind.
"You're stronger than you were then, but you still aren't strong enough to control me, welcome, Roxas. To the Fukushu Slip."
Roxas was stood outside of the local stadium holding up a dead body by the neck, dark red eyes shone underneath locks of golden hair as he sneered at the corpse "Not even worth my time." He snarled, before tossing it aside, it had been an Otherborn, but a weak one at that. Probably a bit younger than he was, about 15, 16. No true grasp on their power though. That was what had killed them.
He sensed someone else approaching, his demonic senses picking up the sound of their approach and carrying their scent towards him. Turning to face where they would arrive from he stood with his arms at his side, his hands and wrists caked in blood from where he'd fought with his bare hands, waiting for whoever he would encounter.

Jeremy's glasses were overloaded with scales and graphs displaying demonic energy. "Odd, Jaden. This demon is near the Stadium."
Odd hits a button on his shoulderpad and grins. "Alright! You know I'm always ready for this!" His body is surrounded by holograms of projecting data in blue codes, then sticking to his body, meshing together to become the purple, feline armor.
Jaden clicks a button on the underside of his Duel Disk and grins. "Maybe this guy will get my game on. Come on, Jeremy! Let's take him down!"
Jeremy chuckles at his companions. "Now, now, two-on-one isn't really fair. And I don't feel like fighting right now... I'm only here to gather data. Don't kill him. And don't get killed yourselves, either."
The two laugh in unison. They come upon the boy soon. He was younger than the three boys, but not by much. But Jeremy's glasses were bugging out bad. He could barely see what was happening in front of him over the data. This made him grin. The demonic ratings for one individual were very high. "Hello, demon. It's not very nice to kill Otherborn like that. An Otherborn like me might be offended by this..."
Jaden laughed. "Enough, Jeremy. You want us to fight him, and this psycho is looking for something to kill! So let's do this." Jaden turns to the demon. "My name is Jaden Yuki! The guy with glasses is Jeremy Belpois, and the purple cat is Odd!"
Odd takes a stance. "Together, we are... Team Tech!" As the last two words were said, Odd throws his jazz hands out, making them all laugh.
Jeremy grins. "Collect some good data, guys. Make his power ramp."

Roxas sneered "We're swapping names now are we?" He asked as he closed his eyes in thought for a moment, his mind trailing to Roxas who was sealed within, a few modifications later and... His eyes snapped back open "You may call me, Saori, but don't make it a habit, you'll be dead before you get too used to it." His blood red eyes scanned the group and he let out a derisive snort "Three on one, huh? Odds aren't very fair on you guys..." He raised an arm and held it behind his back "I'll keep that hand there, and won't even use a sword in the other. That lessens my advantage a little bit."
He wagged the fingers on his free hand "Come get some." In all honesty, he was masking the majority of his power, displaying a fraction to draw in other to fight him.

Jeremy chuckled low, dark. "No, sir... Just two on one. I am merely... an observer. But don't feel it necessary to go easy. These gentleman beside me are no pushovers." Of course, I knew he was masking his power. But how am I to collect data on how powerful a demon was if they didn't go all out? Jaden was only a Halfer, and he by himself was quite tough... Jaden takes a card from his deck and throws it down. "Whatever, Jeremy! Just don't get hurt! You're no use to anyone dead!" A black hole opens up on the ground in front of Jaden, spewing out a torrent of water in the shape of an arrow. The hole disappears and the water dissipates, summoning Elemental Hero Ocean. "Get your game on, Mr. Saori! Because I'm not going easy on you!" Of course, Jaden wouldn't make the first move. Because Odd did. Odd jumped into the air, flipping upside down with a very feline twist, aiming down his wrist and launching two arrow-shaped bullets at Saori, grinning like a madman. |

The arrows phased right through Saori, in reality he'd just moved faster than an eye could track, giving the appearance of not moving at all. His expression didn't change a he finally spoke "Only two on one, hm?" He asked as he moved his free hand behind his back as well "There. Now you may actually be able to hold your own!" And then, his feet started to move in... A tap dance?!
He hummed lightly to himself before disappearing into thin air. Jaden and Odd probably feel a slight gust of air as he moved past them to reappear in front of Jeremy, whom he simply frowned at. "Your face annoys me." He said bluntly "I should rip it off."

Jeremy just smiled in Saori's face. One that said "What are you doing so close to me?" While everyone was distracted, Jaden took the opportunity to put down another card. One large crack of thunder erupting as Elemental Hero Voltic was summoned. Voltic and Ocean both fly at Saori at high speeds. From the other side, Odd lunged with open claws. |

Blood.
I was vaguely aware of being covered, simply covred in blood.
Pain.
Everything hurt. I was disoriented, my mind was shaking and cracked, completely destroyed and shattered by what had happened.
It had all happened so very quickly.
All I had were my programs and my glasses, and it wasn't enough. Nowhere near enough. I could see what was coming for me, but it hadn't helpd.
I heard voices. Familiar voices. I tried to get up and see who they were, but the pain kept me from doing so, and I could barely see out of eyes caked with blood.
Somehow, my glasses had survived. I couldn't see, but I could See...
Monsters...

Saori leaped up into the air with absolute ease, his legs extending outwards to the side, each foot colliding with the head of an elemental hero, before he pushed himself backwards, arms still behind his back, to land with his eyes glaring daggers at Odd's back. Leaping forth, he thrust his feet forwards in a dropkick aimed at the back of Odd's head.

A large, muscular arm grabbed Saori's ankle, and slammed him into the ground on his back. Jaden had summoned Elemental Hero Neos. Voltic and Ocean had vanished. Jaden gives a smirk. "Now we're getting our game on!" Odd stood above Saori's head, wrist aimed between the eyes. "Let's not do anything tricky, demon!" For obvious reasons, Odd was not a huge fan of demons. Jeremy grins as his friend were battling. But the demon wasn't using his power. No data was being gathered that wasn't already databased. He decides to move towards the corpse no, it was still alive. Barely. He reached the body and gave a smirk. "Haraken. I've been looking for you..." The body was almost mauled beyond recognition, but he would know his best friend anywhere. |

Saori snorted as he looked up at Odd "Please, do you think that it would be so easy?" Placing the palms of his hands (which were still against his back) against the floor, he pushed upwards, his head knocking Odd's wrist launcher slightly off aim as he landed deftly on his feet. Looking across at Neos he nodded his head at him "Bad summon!" He said patronizingly "Sit and stay!" He turned his attention back to Odd. Leaping forward, he unleashed a flurrying combo of kicks in his direction, his combat awareness allowing him to keep an eye on Neos at the same time.

So familiar.
THe voice knew my name. I tried to move, but too much was broken and too much was bleeding. I struggled to place the voice, I couldn't really see its owner.
"...who... who's there?"

Jaden laughs. "I'm getting bored with this. Let's get some real strength out!" A quick wisp of black fires coat his body for no longer than a second, donning his demon form. His eyes were no longer the solid brown, but one was now bright blue. He now had black mail armor, and a red cape that danced in the breeze. "Come now, Neos." Neos returned to his side, and summoning Neos Alius. Jaden's tone is flat. "Become one, my friends." Their bodies are melded together, and the Fusion creates a blinding light. It blinded long enough for Odd to stop dodging kicks, and jump out of the way. The light subsided as Odd stood by the new Demon. Elemental Hero The Shining."Awesome, Jaden! You already lost four Demons now, so The Shining is much stronger!" Odd exclaims. Jaden merely nods, not looking at his glowing friend. "Shining, do your thing." The demon stretched his arms to his sides, gathering in light energy. After just a second, he had two grapefruit-sized balls of light in his hands. He brought the energy together slowly and aimed directly at Saori. And released the ray of light. __________________________________________________ Jeremy merely nodded at Haraken. He couldn't see well. "Relax your body, Haraken. Jeez... Odd, Jaden, and I leave you alone for six months and you're getting killed my demons. What will I do with you?" He chuckles lightly, as though there were not a battle going on behind him, and puts his hand on the boy's head lightly. "Struggle in your state, and you'll kill yourself. Stay alive until Jaden and Odd finish this guy... Then we'll get you medical care. Unless you'd prefer I did something now?" |

The voice. It was Jeremy's.
I shook my head weakly.
"Last time you did something, I ended up with glasses that can see through illusions and create computer programs that can kill demons. Next thing I know, I'll be part demon, part robot, part ninja..."

Jeremy merely laughs, as those were all possibilities he had considered. "Fine then. If you believe you can make it, then feel free to just sit and watch.. They've gotten stronger in six months."

The ray of light shot forwards towards Saori, but then it stopped suddenly in its tracks, literally inches away from touching his flesh. Red eyes glared in the reflection of the light but it did not touch him, eventually the light dissipated to show that the demon held one arm forwards, dark, demonic energy pulsating from his hand.
"You made me use a hand..." He growled through gritted teeth "And now you're going to die!" He disappeared in the blink of an eye, before re-appearing behind the Elemental Hero, his fist pulsing with dark energy as he threw a crackling punch towards it, the punch stopped a few inches short, but the energy traveled onwards towards it's target whilst Saori dissipated once more, re-appearing next to Jaden he did the same thing, then to Odd, then back to The Shining. So on and so forth. A flurry of darkness.
