He sighed, looking up at the clouds, arms crossed behind his head as he took in the smell of the air around the bus stop.
He was glad he'd been able to make the arrangements to vacation here, he decided, smiling. It was good to be back home again.
And some old friends were in town, it appeared from the chat logs. Haraken had found his way here to search for information on Kanna's death, and Jeremie had found his way here to search for Haraken... everything was falling into place.
Careful, Izzy, he thought to himself. Keep thinking like that, and you'll turn out like Izaya.
He laughed carefreely, his heavy backpack almost an afterthought to him as he worked his way down the avenue towards the house he'd be staying in, with relatives of course.
It would be good to see Neku again. Too bad the others hadn't been able to make it...
