She leans against the warm flank on the large reptile, a rumble greets her. Letting out a contented sigh her coal colored eyes slip shut as she relaxes against the muddy brown scales. Her companion's massive sides raising her by her cheek and chest as it breaths, lulling her into a relaxed state. Both at peace with the world until.
"You never told me why you chose me, of all the more beautiful women out there," Her voice raising a little with doubt as she speaks, her eyes staying closed and she can feel the mighty muscles tense beneath her. "What's so special about a common omen girl like me?"
A snort and a burst of heat later, an angry voice answers her, You didn't deserve the life you were living! I had to get you away from that-that demon of a man.
"So you felt guilty of me," Her voice is still raised, but it quivers now, as if she's been hurt. "You felt pity? That's why you brought me here? Made me your human?"
Now don't give me that, The beast shifts around, turning its massive head to her. I never believed I would fall in love, but you've corrected me on that theory a thousand times over. Please don't be upset with me, youngling, I am merely Dragon after all.
A red lip puckers out and the maiden sniffs, "That's no excuse." But her dragon knows the fight is over, he has calmed her inner most fears with ease.

Her dark eyes snap up from her bowl of water and she smiles softly, "You get to be human for that one month, right? Until the Red moon at the end of the month?"
