((Right after the end of Transferring Information))
Namine closes her phone with a huge, brilliant smile. Her feet moving her forward and her eyes try to spy out her newest "client". She of course jumps when, unexpected and rather eerily, a hand is placed on her back.
"Are you Miss Namine LeBeau?"
Whirling around Namine's blue eyes meet curious brown ones. For a moment they just stare at each other before the elder blond can nod, "Yes, yes I am."
"Then please follow me... I have a table already," The younger blond, not younger than Kiara is thankfully, steps with a grace that can only be obtained by experience. Namine watches her foot falls as she follows, noticing that her own walk is similiar, but much more muted, more like a normal person's would be. She frowns at the grace being displayed, wondering if this girl is naturally this nimble (possible, but nor probable) or if it is some unfortunate event that has caused this girl to cross the room with perfect ease.
Even as the girl settles down and waves a hand slowly for Namine to join her, the older blond can't shake the feeling that this is even beyond lady like, but the girl doesn't seem to have very much concentration on what she is doing.
"Now then," The girl speaks with tones that are much softer than the ones shown before, let alone the voice that had been over the crisp cell phone call. "Lets get down to business then." Her tone is formal, but it has an underlying of playfulness.
"Yes," Blue eyes examine the younger with calculations that can only be made by one whom knows another of status. "But, first, may I acquire your name?"
"My name..." A kind smile graces the girl's lips before pulling into a toothy grin. "That, if you must insist, you may... I am Jasmine Rokwell of the Rokwell's whom hold a good deal with your dear family Ms. LeBeau."
Called it on the higher class, Namine's thoughts sigh before she breaks out into a smile herself, "Well then, I am with a friend... With that said... No need for formalities... They're too stuffy for a laid back place like this."
"I... I... That is a relief," Jasmine visibly relaxes and then cocks her head to the side. "Well with all the icky stuff outta the way... Lets move forward, yes?"
"Absolutely," Namine nods, feeling herself relax under the brown gaze of the other... Studying her just as much as she had the other moments before. "I am rather interested to know what has brought you and mine's company."
"Yuck, formalities again?" Jasmine frowns before laughing. "Don't worry, nothing painful... I've just been asked to pass a message."
"A message?"
"Yes... One from your father," Another laugh is issued as Namine shifts in her seat, confused. "He truely is worried about you dear, he heard you left the one person you... How did he say it?"
As the girl ponders, Namine looks off to the side, her lower lip is being nibbled on. If her father is worried about something... This must be big... That or he found out about her and--
"Oh, right! He said he is concerned over the fact that Angel sent in his resign letter in the middle of you quote mission unquote."
"Eh?!"
HE DID?!?
"I know, a shocker, right?" Jasmine then waves over a waiter. "I would like two chocolate milkshakes please? Thank you." Her gaze turns back to the panicking elder blond.
"But... BUT WHY?"
"He did not give a known reason, your father is only concerned for your safety."
"Then, by all means, tell him I am with the Network now."
Jasmine sighs, "He was afraid of that... He told me to tell you to withdraw yourself from danger until they can get you another worthy protector."
"I DON'T NEED PROTECTION."
"He said you may feel that way, but if he hears your refusal he'll have to come pick you up himself."
"My father is spineless... its more so he'd beg my mother to come get me... He cannot stand up to either of us," Namine growls out lowly.
Jasmine shrugs, "If you feel no threat than do not listen to him... But if you are truly worried...Back out while you still have your freedom."
Namine just growls and then sighs, "I thought this meeting was to help you not me."
"I am merely doing as directed... I did not seek out your father, he sought me."
"Urgh," Namine stands and is about to leave before slamming down some bills, enough to pay for at least ten shakes and then some. "Enjoy my drink for me." And then she leaves in a flourish of rage.
Jasmine watches as she leaves, smiling as she sees the burning rage that echos from deep with in the girl's soul. She will fall in the direction she hopes not to... To the demon that lurks inside her heart...
