Aqua smiles up at the darkened sky, her finger tips loosely holding onto a champagne glass, her eyes glossed over with deep emotions. Something about her is written as happy though, the entire air around her seems to be glowing and even her lips are twitched up in a small smile. Her blue eyes, sightless at the moment, gaze almost lovingly up at the starry sky above her.
Her shoulders drop slowly as her breath leaves her slowly. Her gaze drifts down just as warm, strong arms wrap around her. The ghost of a smile becoming a bright and intoxicated one. Slushy, she turns in the embrace, her glass, thankfully it only looks glass and is really plastic, clatters to the ground. Her hands grab hands full of ruffled shirt, her nose buries deep into sweat filled fabric.
Shizuo had been out fighting demons again. The distinct taste of the Otherworld bites her tongue as she breathes in the musk of her partner. Her lungs heaving out a heavy sigh, no words needed as she tilts her head back, eyes glazed over with deep emotion. And soon she feels herself being kissed deeply. Her fingers trail up to dyed blond locks, curling into them.
She sighs into the kiss. His hands smooth over her back, as if to send a private message to her. One she understands, he doesn't mean to worry her, but he just can't give up this life he's in. She knows this already and, as painful and scary it is for her, she has come to terms with it.
The drinking tonight had been for another reason all together.
"Sini is missing," Her voice trembles as she pulls back, only voicing her thoughts a shivering moment before she's pushing herself against the taller man before her, seeking comfort in just him being there. "My brother can't find him." It doesn't make matters better than Angel ran away from the city about a month ago. The mother's nerves are both fried, yet she can't pull herself to go and check up on her kids, she knows Midori would take it as an insult seeing how he is fine. But her baby, her baby blue!
"... What if-"
"We'll find him," Shizuo interrupts firmly, holding her closers and tighter. "Together." The beserker understands the mother fully, as if they are one person living in separate bodies. He runs his hands through her blue hair, taking steadying breaths of air, already having to fight the anger and rage he knows will come into use later.
They stay like that a while before the blue haired female bursts into silent tears, the alcohol she had consumed has made its way through her system and now... Now she's with out something to hold her back, keep her senses dulled to the point where she couldn't feel anything. Even if people say you become more expressionate drunk, Aqua does not, she becomes extremely reclusive on the outside, barely being able to express herself. But everyone can read her emotions freely. It was this last fact that kept her from the bottle while her babies are around. Sometimes though she needs a drink... Especially seeing how this was her first drink since before the twins were born.
The blond man just holds her, pained, but with out much more he can do for her. And its close like this that Aqua begs Shizuo to lay with her in bed. Soon they fall asleep tangled as one in the worry and pain, but also in the strength and sturdiness. Before they had trully fallen asleep though. Aqua had mumbled a sweet, "I love you."
Which was returned with a smile, small chuckle, and then a peck to the forehead. A thumb brushing along her cheek before the man whispers the words back to, not as shy as they both once at had, "I love you too, Aqua." It had been then that the bluenette slipped off into sleep, completely comforted by her other half, the one she had searched for fourteen years for and found simply by mistake. But they are more one than her and Dia ever would be, Shizuo doesn't just complement her, he makes her feel absolutely complete. Soon Shizuo follows her, just as calmed as Aqua due to just her presence.
And the night wears on...
