I'm currently writing a story about Shizuo's past, detailing the death of his parents, and something that whilst not properly addressed, is equally important, the reason that Izaya calling him 'Shizu-chan' really grates on his nerves.
However, I am incapable of finishing it today as I hoped... But I don't want to leave you guys with nothing! Even though I haven't promised you anything yet! :')
So! I present to thee, a small teaser if you will. Tiny, minuscule, microscopic. Here, literally just to give you a taste of what to expect ^_^

He clenched a fist and approached the sickly man before him. "What?" He snarled, golden flecks dancing around his eyes. "You'll have to forgive me... If I can't see my father!" He had raised his voice now. "All I see is a broken man! A broken man who killed my mother!" He threw his fist down, tears forming around his eyes, as he approached the figure laid out on the bed, a cushion from the couch in hand. The man did nothing to defend himself.
