"Um..." Oh... Echos? Is she like a... bat? I read about bats once... "... Do you... Want my hand or soemthin'?" Bats have troubles seeing, right?

She hated asking for help, but...
"Y-yes. I'm sorry for being such trouble... I... Usually, I'm more independent than this." The blush deepened. "I'm sure you can tell quite easily that I'm blind... I dislike it when that gets the better of me like this." Her hand gripped the cane more tightly.

Walking closer I hold out my hand, "Its alright... I'm glad to help."

"Thank you," she replied completely sincerely. She held out her own hand in the direction of the voice, fumbled for a moment before she finally found the hand that was offered her.
The moment their fingers touched, Lilly was overcome with information; answers to many of the questions she had been asking herself, such as Kiara's age, and some insight into her past with the cafe, as well as the one piece of information she wasn't expecting.
Her hand jerked back, more a reflexive reaction to the 'vision' - they had yet to come up with a better term for what she experienced - than to the knowledge, but...
"....oh!" she couldn't keep herself from exclaiming, before putting a hand up to her mouth to silence any further outburst. She lowered it, extending it again.
"I'm sorry," she said. "I didn't realize..." She shook her head, a small controlled gesture. "...it doesn't matter. Lead the way, please, Kiara?"

I just laugh softly, "You're alright... Come on." And I lead her carefully to the back where the store room is.

"Thank you again, Kiara," she said quietly. "I... I guess I can tell you now. Why I'm really here. I can understand, now, why Sensei told me to ask for you specifically." She nodded as they walked to the storeroom. Carefully, she leaned her cane up against the wall, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a card - the same one she read the information from - and an ornate, old-fashioned key.

Nodding I pull back, allowing her to unlock the door, "Let me know if ya want help miss."

She laughed, hearing and feeling Kiara moving away from the door.
"No, no, you don't understand; this isn't the key to the storeroom," she said. "You see, I'm here for something very special. Something Sensei deliberately left behind. At first, I was worried about telling you... but I can tell... I don't have to be worried about you." She smiled. "The key goes to the room behind the storeroom. A room no one but I can find... because I can see what the eyes cannot. That's what Sensei taught me."

''Oh!" Smiling I lean forward and push the key into lock. "Woop-si-daisies~" And then unlock the store room and push open the door.
"Sorry 'bout that."

"It's fine. What else were you supposed to think?" She gave a reassuring smilein what she hoped was Kiara's direction before taking up her cane and daintily tapping her way into the storeroom.
There was a sound. It wasn't a sound she could qite describe, like a ringing in the ears only from an outside source.
"Kiara," she asked. "Your ears are as sharp as mine, possibly sharper, I would imagine. Do you hear anything?" She stepped a bit farther in, towards the sound's direction.

I shake my head, "Nope, do you?"

She nodded. "Hmmm...." she said thoughtfully, moving along to the wall and placing her hands on the shelf, reached them back through.... began to move along. "It's coming from over here," she said quietly to herself, moving to a bare spot in the back wall. She reached out, touched it. Tapped; moved up to the next brick. Tapped. Three bricks over, she found a different sound, one that echoed hollowly for Kiara, and produced another tone for Lilly. She smiled, removed the brick. A keyhole was behind. Inserting her key into the lock and urning it, she produced a 'click', and the sound ceased. The back wall slid into the floor, revealing a staircase, and she tapped its edges with her cane before smiling.
"This must be what Sensei wanted me to find... but how did he know...."

".... He probably put it there," I shrug. "Want me to lead the way?"

She shook her head. "I can manage from here. The echoes are gone; it appeared the sound was the source. I was wondering how he knew about me wehn he placed this here, a long time ago, certainly a while before I studied under him. But... like me, he was also a seer, so I suppose it's not too far-fetched that he saw me, too." She smiled, stepped forward, cane held out in front of her, tapping rhythmically to show her the location of each step before she took it. "I apologize for being so slow," she said back over her shoulder as she walked. "Stairs can be... tricky... for me."

I just beam and giggle, "No problem, Miss... I'd rather be slow than you get hurt~."
