2 days left till Ascension part 2, and here is the first track I am going to give you guys today.
2. Urbadelphia. About: When choosing a song to represent an entire location, it needs to be long. Why long? Because it needs to convey as many emotions and feelings as possible, this is why the 12 minute song Winter Contingency from Halo Reach was chosen. The moment the song begins your assaulted by strong drums and a haunting background chorus, the mystery and fear of the city is conveyed in the strong drum beats and haunting vocals.
At 3:15 we get a dark drum and guitar, representing villains rising up, but once we hit 4:18 the strings and guitar are heroic and daring - representing those as heroes stopping whatever is coming their way. The bits after that section, a calm peace ensues until the haunting drum beat returns and then we are faced with soft, dangerous beats as we think of the dangers of the city...until it hits a full blown orchestra - perfect for any action sequence. Then it falls back again to dark guitar beats and haunting drums. Finally, we end this epic of the city on haunting notes...reaffirming the supernatural of the city and it's many dark corners.

That's quite an interesting description of the music. And though I am not a fan of the Halo games, I did enjoy the track. It fits greatly with the story. ~Kudos
(Is it just me? Why do the first three minutes remind me of a track from Spyro - A New Beginning...? ?_? )

Despite it fitting perfectly I would like to also say it definitely made my heart spike! Made me more conscious of not only the music, but the world around me and beyond the arguing of my aunt and cousin. Made me think of the wonders of the world, drew me into a deep thought process and then spite me out with this EXTREME DRIVE to edit...
Also...
Reminded me of an old story I have to re-adapt so I write it and fully create it with out the screaming of............. copyright >.>
