As I was walking home from Lea's place, I passed Noctis' and found myself stopping. Last I checked, he had left around the same time I did. Could he be home? I raised my hand to knock but then I heard a girl's voice, it was very muffled by the door but it was obviously belonged to a girl.
Wait, Noctis with a girl? No, he isn't the type to invite new people into his apartment. Maybe he met a girl when he went on his job? My curiosity was piqued. I knocked and waited. Wouldn't want to walk into an awkward situation. Accidentally walked in on Zephyr and a girl before, most awkward moment of my life.

Noctis was glad that she had understood even if the remark had been merely a joke. He had opened his mouth to reply to her when the knocking at his door had suddenly occurred, definitely not something he'd been expecting at this time. "Excuse me for a moment." He said to Darla with an apologetic smile before he got up to go and answer. There were not many people who would visit him so he had to admit he was curious who was there. One glance through the peephole confirmed that it was Aya and he made quick work of the four locks on the door before he opened it. "Aya, what brings you here?" He had expected her to be elsewhere, usually with Lea since she didn't normally get home until later. At least, judging by the usual time that he would hear her walking around in the apartment above his.

A sinister, playful smirk played across my features "Not much, just heard some voices, and figured you'd be home. Looks like you already have company however." I looked over to the odd blonde girl. I've never seen her around but either way, Noctis had a new girl in his apartment and he's alone with her, I couldn't help but tease. "So, should I assume I'm unwanted here?" I pointed down the hall. To be honest, I'm hoping he'll say that I should go. If anyone needs to get laid, it's him.

Noctis looked quite wary when he noticed her smirk, the muscles of his back tensing in trepidation. At her words however he cleared his throat in an embarrassed manner, not used to her poking fun at him. "No, it's fine." He said before standing aside to let Aya in. "Darla, this is Aya. She's the neighbour I spoke of earlier." He explained as he looked back towards Darla. He hoped that the introduction of a new person wouldn't make her close up but he couldn't blame her if she did since he was the same way.

I looked her up and down before grabbing her hand and shaking it. She was quite pretty I'll admit. "Pleasure is all mine. So when did you meet Noct here?" I looked over at Noctis with my sinister smile still lingering. Releasing Darla's hand, I went and leaned up against the wall by Noctis' door and noticed he's added more locks. Always the paranoid one, wasn't he?

Noctis closed the door after Aya had stepped into the apartment before he looked back to observe the meeting between the two. He had to admit, that smile of Aya's was making him nervous. "Would either of you like something to drink?" He asked as he gestured to the fridge in the kitchen area. Before he'd left town he'd made sure to dispose of anything that wouldn't have lasted the 6 months he'd been gone so what was in there hadn't yet hit its expiration date.

And I haven't been introduced to her, thanks a lot Noctis, love you to. "Just water would be fine for me." I turn my eyes to the room, nothing has changed, just the addition of locks. "I probably won't stay long, haven't been home since I got in town in honesty."
"Darla, I think I've heard of you, you're that other blonde girl's cousin correct? Nama, Namin, Namine, something like that?"

"Hey, I was out of town for most of those months." Noctis replied, his tone friendly in reply to her joking tone before he ventured into the kitchen to get them what they requested. After fishing a couple of glasses out of the cupboards he quickly filled them from the tap before he brought them back and handed them to the two women. "So you just got back in as well? Or were you with Lea?" He said with a smirk of his own, knowing how awkward she could sometimes feel about discussing her relationship with the red-headed halfer in front of strangers. It was his own way of paying her back for her subtle teasing at the door.

"Never had the chance to meet her to be honest, all I know is that she's quite the popular one." Then I heard Noctis' comment. Damn boy. "I spent some time with Lea, but I've only been in town for about 2 hours. Yourself?" My eyes wandered back to Darla. "Ah, how rude of me. We'll talk later alright? Got some unpacking to do and I'm sure you two don't want me invading your privacy." I finished up the water handed to me and handed it back to Noctis then headed towards the door. "Talk to you later Noct." I gave him a playful wink and left. A tad rushed I'll admit, but eh. I didn't want to ruin his chances if he was gonna make a home run. People showing up randomly is such a mood killer.

"I've only been in town for about the same amount of time" He replied to Aya as he leaned comfortably against the wall of the hallway, he looked briefly towards Darla to note her reaction to the mention of Namine. However that was before Aya spoke. Having known Aya for awhile now it wasn't hard to figure out what she was insinuating. His cheeks flushed in embarrassment as he took the glass from her, glaring as he did so. He really was not used to being teased like that especially over untrue assumptions. Still, this was almost tame for Aya. Once Aya had left he sighed and close the door behind the vulgar blonde woman. "Sorry about her, she's just...Aya."

Darla watched Aya leave, taking another drink of her water. She shrugs at Noctis, "Its quite alright... You two are cute though, like siblings."
