"Thanks. She was actually one of the first people I met after I moved here." He replied as he took Aya's used glass into the kitchen and placed it in the sink to be washed later. "I'm actually surprised she wasn't more vulgar. That was quite tame compared to how she normally is with her teasing." He added as he returned from what he'd been doing, his colour now having returned to normal.

She had finished off her water while he had been in the other room and now laughs softly, "Oh? Well then, I guess she was implying something then?" Not that she noticed or cared, was far more content with staying in the friends zone for a long while before she ends up with someone again... She doesn't want to make that mistake again...

He laughed quietly and nodded to confirm what she said. "She's apparently under the impression that I need to 'get laid'. Luckily she's not the type to play Matchmaker or I would be in a lot of trouble." He answered with an amused shake of his head. While it was true that he'd never had a girlfriend he was hardly in the state of mind for any sort of relationship at that moment. While it was true that he was no longer hunted it would still take quite some time for him to settle into something resembling normalcy. Well, as close as you could get when you have otherworldly abilities.

"You're probably right. It's just a little embarrassing...As you probably saw." He referred to the way he had blushed when Aya had been making her comments. He cleared his throat to try and dispel the somewhat tense air that had come about from the mutual understanding of what Aya had been teasing about. "Regarding the Veil. As I said, my shift starts at noon. Do you want to meet there to talk to Tifa or would you prefer to drop by here first?"

"I'll meet you there," She says warmly and then holds out her cup. "I'm guessing this is you kicking me out, so... I'll take my leave." She smiles softly at him."

He chuckled at her guess. "Not kicking out per say. I would just like to sleep for a bit. It was a long walk from the bus depot." He explained. "But yes, I'll see you tomorrow." Noctis added as he took the cup from her and held it in one hand while pulling open the door. "Thank you for coming by, Darla." He told her with a warm smile, the way the exhaustion from travelling made itself clear in his appearance. Slightly slumped shoulders and slight bags under his eyes being the clearest indicators.

She nods and walks out the door, "Thanks for letting me stay, Noctis." Waving she heads for Neku and Nami's apparent, all ready to wake the love birds up and crash for the night. As she walks she calls over her shoulder. "Sleep well."
